Lucifer from Fable 2 by far..

I was ready for some epic boss battle..

*Presses Y and watches Lucifer die*.

Wtf..?
I think that was Lucien... not Lucifer... they're unsubtle, but not that unsubtle. :p
It probably was..xD I haven't touched the game in a year or so after I beat it, so I don't really remember it that well..

Kat in Halo Reach

It was so undramatic and uninteresting. It was just like "wait, what just happened?"

It happened so fast that if you blinked you would have missed it.
The point was that it was so fast. Why do you think that it had the 10 seconds of blackscreen, cue emotional music, followed by you and your team calling for evac in a fire-drenched scene, in sillouette, with you holding her dead body? Because it was "undramatic"? Just because it was quick doesn't make it undramatic and uninteresting. But this is just one man's opinion.

Carlos!!! =,[
...from Saints Row 2.
He was so young, and there was a chance he could have made it
He's actually a call back to the first game. One of Julius' Lieutenants got taken out early on in that one. I can't remember her name, but its the one that Donnie's broken up over at the beginning of 2.
Ya i know, I forgot her name too. But still, the game was setting it up so you'd take Carlos under your wing and teach him how to be a good Lt. then he gets killed for something you did. I love how you end up killing the guy's girlfriend as revenge though

Lynn, I think.

But, yeah, Carlos is the turning point in that thread. After that all your missions take on a much more vicious edge, like torturing Matt for information. I love how after you mangle Matt's hand, you get a paper headline saying "Feeddogs farewell concert declared 'Best ever.'" in the end of mission newspaper headline.

The other really nasty character kill in SR2 is Aisha. You go through all the trouble to save her in the first game, and then this. At least you and Gatt get a fantastic revenge kill for that.

Ya it was Lynn.
Haha ya i remember that there was alot of funny moments in that game.
Oh ya. that whole mission I was in denial. The sword fighting was kinda hard though.

I guess Volition knows how to make their crime dramas. I can't wait for the third one; I just hope they do something about the characterization of the main character, because in the second game he seemed like an asshole, espeacialy in the hidden mission.

Honestly, given that the main character is a complete psychopath? I actually kind that rather refreshing. A lot of games (San Andreas and GTA4) go well out of their way to make the main character likeable in spite of them being... well, based on player behavior, a complete psychopath. So, that Volition plays into this? It cracks me up, honestly.

Now, maybe that means that deep down I'm a very bad person, but I can live with that. I'd rather play a homicidal nut job with a sense of humor than a homicidal nut job with a heart of gold.

For the record: I actually really like both San Andreas and GTA4, and think they do an excellent job with creating a protagonist (CJ and Niko) who is remarkably sympathetic in spite of them being outright monsters most of the time. But, SR2's decision to play the psychopath angle up adds another bit of subversive comedy to the whole mess.

Sorry if that was rambling.

Wow, I've never thought of it like that. It makes sense.

Kat's death was quick on purpose, it emphasised the realisation that they were losing the battle, by her death being so sudden.

Playing as Master Chief for the last 3 games (not including ODST) has made people think of spartans as invulnerable, badass, killing machines. Kat's death completely changed that.

Wait she died? I didn't even notice her gone...lol...
well at least that Jorge fellow made it...
...Are you sure you're playing the right game?
It was a joke because the characters made as much of an impression on me as... something that doesn't make a deep impression... I can't think of a snarky analogy okay...
Your post made as much of an impression on me as a water gun makes on a tank.
