To put it simple, what was the single dumbest, stupidest, or idiotic decision you've ever made? Also, feel free to include how you made up for that decision.

Mine would probably be eating at Burger King, I used to do that all the time when I was young and I never realized how bad it was for you.

I don't eat any fast food now, and I feel so much better for it.

Not getting braces when they were offered to me a few years ago.
They'd be off by now and I'd have perfect teeth. My past-self was an idiot.

Now I'll have to get them at some stage in the future.

Taking the voluntary lay-off plus extra nice severance-package from my last job. [http://www.micron.com/]

I've now been unemployed for more than a year and deeper in debt! Glee! It's getting to the point where I'm considering reapplying for my old job on the off chance they'll take me back.

Say, does anybody want to hire an unemployed ex-electronics manufacturing worker?

Letting my family pressure me into spending $5,000 USD on laser eye surgery. I like being able to see, i just don't $5,000 like it!

Letting myself be convinced into going to Uni because "life will be better afterwards". Stuck for the long run now. Nights out are fun though.

I once asked what type of animal a chicken was.

I seriously hope I don't die with that level of stupidity, or I'll certainly end up in the Darwin awards...

edit: oh wait, decision! oooh ok!

that would have to be going out with my girlfriend (now ex, obviously), despite having told her that I wasn't really ready to have a girlfriend an hour or so ago... basically she started getting upset and I didn't want her to be upset cause she was my best friend at the time...

In the long run though, it just made things a whole lot more complicated than they should have been =\

Buying HAWX, what a waste of a fifty.

Also, registering on the Escapist. I could be doing something productive, but alas, I'm posting stuff on this website.

Buying Dawn Of War II and Supreme Commander. Can't think of anything else because everything we did in our past affects the future so I don't think any of my decisions are bad. But some are.

Moving out too soon.
Long story short, I had to move back in with my parents with a $750 debt.
750 isnt that bad!
my sister moved out when she was 17 and now has over $10000 in debt to show for it..

Gotta be a toss up between not staying with the girl I loved over in America when I had the chance, or, coming home dropping out of college so I could get a job so that I could go back over to America to be with her properly, only for things to break down 12 months later.

How different my life could have been, sigh.
