The Saints Row 3 DLC seems pretty piss poor.
I have to somewhat agree on this one. The DLC so far hasn't added more than another two or three hours of gameplay and only add a few new vehicles and costumes.(I was annoyed that you didn't get to keep any of the new weapons from Gangsters in Space)

The DLC for medieval Total War II That opened up like 4 other provinces in the America's. It was a freaking waste of my time. Not to mention it wouldn't run on most configurations and was buggy as hell.

Catwoman added jack to Arkham City. You did not need her installed to have a complete experience because she added nothing to it. Batman does nothing to stop her, her storyline contributes nothing to the main plot, it's just fluff and nothing else.

I still don't see the outrage behind it, unless its a knee jerk from the most entitled of us in this community. It seems to me the most vocal of the complainers realized this when they played the game and found something else to ***** about to keep the egg from touching their face.

I'm going to go with Arrival from ME2.

Having not played ME3 yet (it arrives tomorrow, I won't be reading replies in case they have spoilers...) it seems like this is basically the setup for why Shepard is on Earth. So, effectively, the end of the game is cut from the 'main' game.

Plus, the content itself was poor. Obvious cost-cutting by excluding your squad, 'decisions' which mean nothing, and a fairly odd story to boot.

So, bad DLC.

Any DLC that is £5 and comprises only character skins, no matter how many.
Dunno, I think the skins in Batman arkham city are pretty badass. Then again, I still play that game like there's no tomorrow so any dlc seems worth the cash then

Thanks for reminding me: the challenge packs for Arkham City. For the stupid price they ask, I was hoping for more than challenge rooms. At least let me use the characters in the bloody story!

Okay yeah, not being able to use nightwing or robin in their own story, that sucked balls.

I thought that a pretty and DLC, Was anything besides knights of the nine, Shiver Isle, or the Horse armor for Oblivion.

The rogues hideout/vampire place/ castle place (I forgot all the names, I apologize)

Literally just houses that had small perks that I never used. I was too busy chillin in the ghetto of the Imperial City, Hanging out with my homeboys and hobos.

In completely unrelated news, I was listening to Iheart Radio, a Foo fighters station, after after a metalica song ends (unforgiven II), suddenly No doubt starts playing. I hate them now, and am now considering pandora

Multiplayer maps. A lot of DLC are pointless or overprice but that easily fixed, just don?t buy them. Multiplayer maps on the other hand can make it a pain in the ass to get matches and divide the community.

Oh I know! Any game that has ever forced me to download/buy something just to unlock the multiplayer, because I bought the game used. Also the 5 (five!!!) motherfucking gb download, update thing Battlefield 3 keeps trying to get me to download. Can someone please explain to me what and why this is?
if you're referring to the d/l for multiplayer, it's an HD texture pack that I think is there because they couldn't fit all the HD info on the disc with the multiplayer/coop info, doesn't take too long, all you do is switch disc's and it installs it from the other one, and IMO it really improves the graphics in MP, but it's not a mandatory thing.

*edited to fix quote-fail shenanigans*

This is more common in the eastern hemisphere, but I'd say the worst kind of DLC is the kind in competitive gaming that puts you at a clear disadvantage to those who paid for it. There are some multiplayer games out there were you cannot hope to win without paying up that extra money. Then it turns into a race to see who is willing to spend the most money on special bonuses and equipment. That's just wrong.
