Now I might wear this really sweet Southern Comfort belt buckle to keep my pants secured. But really Southern Comfort must be one of the most disgusting drinks I've ever ordered in a bar.

Lutefisk maybe? Does anyone really like fish that's been sitting in lye for about six days? Or maybe balut, which is a fertilized duck egg boiled when the embryo starts to develop feathers.
Lutefisk is actually pretty good if its cooked properly :)

OT: try Smalahove, an entire sheeps head :p http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smalahove

I once tried these "Stuffed Pretzels" in my cafeteria. They were bland, tasteless pretzels filled with what tasted like chunky, rotten cream cheese. And, they smelled so bad I actually puked in my mouth.

Unlike most of you, however, I love tofu, especially in curry sauce.

Cool. Never heard of that dish. I gotta try it out sometime. I have a morbid fascination for quirky dishes as long as they don't contain any sort of fecal matter or genitalia of some sort.

Dirt Cheap Beer. That is the actual name of the beer. It's about $4 for a pack of 6 and it was so bad my dog wouldn't drink it.

Mmmmmmmmm... Oh crap, I am craving poutine now... Darn you!

How can you be a Canadian and not love poutine? :p Maybe you're just not close enough to Quebec
Even vegetarians can love poutine since I know a fair amount of poutine places that make meat-free gravy!

Out of curiosity, how close to Quebec are you? I always like to see that there are other Escapists in my area. I only know of one other Escapist in Montreal and I haven't seen him around the boards much anymore.
I be near Toronto. Not really that close, but I've been to Montreal a few times, most recently last spring. Wonderful place, if not terrible for heels (damn cobblestones.)

I shuffle between Montreal and Toronto. I take it you mean Vieux Montreal since that's really the only place there are cobblestones.

That or I'm thinking of Quebec City...

No, yes, I'm thinking of Quebec City. I remember climbing the wall and thinking, "Damn, they should really, like, remake these." :p But we did go to Montreal and Quebec City. That's also where I say someone cosplaying down the streets as Ed Elric from FMA. Hah!

And then there was Mutton Chops Guy... Ahhhh...

Vegemite. I remember that music video from Men At Work, and had always wondered what a Vegemite sandwich would taste like. Couldn't find any in the states, but my brother married an Australian and I asked them to send me some so I could see for myself.

I'll stick to PB&J, thanks.

I would say meat but that would just start a flame war...

So I'll put forward aubergine. Unlike cauliflower, it has a taste, an awful texture, and my school has a habit of chucking it in every single vegetarian meal x_x

Well, you must not have any Irish in you because that stuff is fantastic.
OT: Mayonaise.
