Fable 2... The main villain is killed with a single button. No battle, nothing... Just press A.
What he said.

Atleast he flies into a pit. Though the world doesn't like explode...
The story itself isn't over, though, as Kreia, er, I mean, Theresa, now possesses the Spire and says 'Tower's mine now, bitches- begone' which does leave room for a sequel. Theresa does have the potential to be a kick-ass villain in Fable 3, too- just throw in sinister magical powers and a nihilistic bent and go from there.

The ending to Indiana Jones Temple Of Crystal Skull or whatever it's called. The film is okay, but the ending I just found to be half-assed, just blamining it all on...

Aliens. That's it. It just sounds stupid and unbelievable.

Now Watchmen, that's a good film ending.

Fallout3 obviously. Basically tells you what you have already done and that you're dead. Maybe you saved the world? Shame we don't give a fuck :D

Also Beyond Good and Evil ending didnt make any sense to me. she just seems to sorta save everyone, then BAM! credits. Maybe the sequal will make it seem better

F.E.A.R 2 ending was pretty horrible! But then again, I'm not sure whether it was the fact Becket was getting raped, or whether it was just a bad ending... maybe both! :p

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. God did that ever piss me off. It took me forever to finish that game and when I did, the whole f*cking thing was just a dream. I just about threw my Gameboy through a wall when I saw that.

I didn't think that people would have to be beaten over the head with it but the ending of The Matrix Revolutions is pretty easy to figure out. Neo dies and is reinserted into the Matrix resetting the programming the same as the Ones before him. Holding up their end of the bargain the machines get to keep people supplying them with power but anyone who wants out will be willingly released and the machines will stop attacking Zion. There really wasn't supposed to be much of a change The One is basically a reset switch for when people start to become disillusioned with the world around them. That's what I gathered from it anyway.

Not that I didn't like Fallout 3's ending, but I wanted the game to continue like Oblivion and never end.

Yay for DLC!

Fallout 3 because you were either considered a hero or an asshole and all the ending sequences were a let down. Yes i could have survived that fucking radiation in that tank my god the armor i was wearing gave me like 40 percent or more immunity, i had a perk that gave me like a 10 percent immunity and i took rad x before entering. it did like 10 radiation to me in the stongest radiation i could have lived in that tank for a week.
Wow, trolls are becoming more of a problem on this site.

For me anyway, it'd be I Am Legend. Hooray, the zombies were killed and we survived! Oh yeah, BUT ONLY BECAUSE OF CHRISTIANITY. Don't forget it, *****!

In a movie: Knowing.
The world ended and everybody's dead.
In a game:
The ending I got in GTAVI. Roman was such a huge dick; why did he have to die? He was hilarious in way that I don't think he should have been.
Cheers for that, I haven't seen Knowing and you ruined the ending for me; cheers.

And also: GTAVI would mean GTA6
You mean GTA:IV - GTA:4

So in conclusion: Don't ruin movies, and learn Roman Numerals.
~Frosty.
Don't get your panties in a twist, this is obviously a spoiler thread. Should've realised that before you looked at this post.

Aside from the obvious recent flops (Fable, Fallout, etc.), I'd say Bioshock.

Obviously not because of the story or its "twist," which are fantastic, but the actual ending itself. SPOILERS BELOW!

It had the same issues as Fallout's ending - you have moral choices to make throughout the game (do I harvest or not harvest? Do I let Cohen live or not? Etc.) and you may decide to mix a bit of good and evil to boot - but at the end, you're either the ultimate savior or you unleash hell on Earth by letting splicers run amok. Really? If I harvest one sister, it automatically gives me an ending that makes me an evil dictator? It just didn't feel appropriate given the choices I made... oh, and it was ridiculously short too (a 15 second clip showing the result of your choices).

The game should have ended in the office.
I don't see it so much of a flop, as much as a lazy ending.
Just like any comic book hero/action movie where the main character (Spider VS Green goblin, or Venom ect) In the books battle these pricks for 20 years and in movie terms they meet for 3 days and the villian dies.

Shame to, the original fallout had slews of ending and your final judgement...
What was the quote "It's either mother Thersa or baby eatting..."

The ending to Fallout 3 makes no sense.

Why couldn't Fawkes punch in the damn code?
Because they decided that they should give bethseda fans a real ending because to many people complained after Oblvion came out and you could continue the story. I was not one of them.
Nor I. The only, and I repeat, only problem I ever had with Oblivion's storytelling was that I had to wait two in-game weeks for the armor that was technically worse than what I had on my back at that point in the game.
Oh, and the fact that even after I was made Arch-Mage, I could still get booted for offending them. So what if I killed Sparky?

I'm going to have to go with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (movie). The movie in general pretty much cut out everything in the book that was actually important. I felt that if you hadn't read it, then the movie wouldn't have made any sense.

...Golden Sun the Lost Age did seem to end on a cliffhanger they haven't gotten around to resolving.

The third Matrix film. It is the only ending I've seen that has actually confused me.

It had a begining, middle, and an advertisment for the next game!
They might as well of just said "To be continued..."

Mentioned already, but KotORII has a pretty awful ending. Sure, there's like, one or two cool tidbits like Mandalore = Canderous But it's almost as if the developers were celebrating "finishing" (term used VERY loosely) the game when one of them says, "Oh shit, we forgot to put an ending in," so they run back to their computers and quickly hash together a couple of paragraphs of text, then call the final boss' voice actor up to quickly run through the last remaining lines.

In a movie, I thought that Ocean's Twelve was terrible. The "twist" at the end made me genuinely peeved to have spent money to watch the entire thing, and the movie was actually pretty bad to begin with.

The Assassin's Creed ending makes about as much sense as Serial Experiments Lain filtered through the mind of a drug-using hippie, so naturally, I was very excited when they announced a sequel. Hopefully, they can do the plot justice by explaining what's really going on.
