Borderlands

WHAT THE FUCK! A Giant vagina demon and no loot? worst ending ever! Only Ninja Claptrap saved it from all hate, at least it ended on a fun note.

Which is a pity because the game was good fun to play.

Hmmmm... It would have to be Prototype for me.
I mean if your not gonna end and just be some random dude running around manhattan and be cool then obviously the people who made Prototype need to OPEN THERE FUCKING EYES!
P.S Sorry if my swearing offended anybody here.

Honestly, the Borderlands ending I have to say was the most disappointing thing I've even been through...I'm not even going to post a description of why. Anyone that has beaten it knows why, and I don't want to spoil the fail for anyone who's going to play it. I know there are spoiler covers but I guarantee most people click them anyways out of curiosity.

I actually remember the ending of Dreamfall: The Longest Journey....it was more disappointing than anything you could possibly dream of. That + years of waiting for the bloody thing to come out = so much fail it actually deserves a prize

All games listed are ones I beat personally and had crappy endings - This doesn't mean the game was crap (as many I actually loved).

1) Fallout 3
2) Mass Effect (Sorry, I felt like a mission ended... not the game).
3) Chrono Trigger (multiple endings, none of them made the mediocre game worth playing over)
4) The Legend of Zelda (NES, yeah... it didn't have an epic ending and in fact dumped you back to start all over.)
5) Killer Instinct (Do you remember any of the endings?)
6) Fallout 3 (Just wanted to reiterate how much of a let down that was.)

In an unrelated motion, one of the most unique endings I remember was Earthbound (Mother 2). You were able to explore ALL areas of the game "on the way home" with no enemies and nearly everything was re-written... remember Fourside? There was one locked door that said "Come back after you've finished playing Earthbound!"... when you go back: "Oh, you finished Earthbound? Good job!"

Beautiful

Assassin's Creed. The next three games in the series are essentially the actual the ending of Assassin's Creed. Assuming prices stay the same, you'll need to pay something like a hundred and eighty dollars to get the entire story (including the unreleased third game).

Alone in the Dark is a close second.

Essentially, Satan is incarnated into your girlfriend. Then Carnby just walks away and the screen fades to black. We don't even get to kill Satan. The moral of the story is to not kill or something.

There's an option to shoot the girlfriend. If you do so, Carnby gets possessed by Satan and the girl dies. If you don't, she becomes Satan. Either way, you lose.

Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaarnbyyyyyyy.

Star Wars:Republic Commando.
Oh my god, Sev is still trapped down there! So, I assume the next mission will be to rescue him-? Wait, what the hell do you mean this is the end of the game?!

Horrid. Not to mention it doesn't even feel so much like an ending so much as the game just stopping.

I don't really know why the hate for the Fallout 3 end. I liked it.

But, OT, KoTR2.

Or, rather, the 'ending' they cobbled together for it.

The end of the movie Bangkok Dangerous. It was logical, but it was still a total kick in the gnads.

I'll say Breath of Fire 3 was hugely disappointing; first you have to sit through a huge cut scene which you can't skip before you can fight the last boss, then after a long battle 2 of the characters in the group leave (one turns to stone, one becomes a tree*) and the ending just has the other 4 characters escaping the site of the battle while it collapses as the last boss decends down some sort of pit. It's hugely unsatisfying.

* This makes cmlete sense ingame due to 1 character initially being a servant of the last boss while the other one is connected to a mystical tree in addition to being a plant.

Xmen Origions: Wolverine
I hype about it more than star trek and its like bullet to the foot in movie format
(honorable mention goes out to G.I Joe, really you kill Storm Shadow AND save The Barreness!)
