Try going into the console (press the tilde key, or whatever else might be right above the tab key), and type "default_fov 100". You can try different values, to find one that suits you.Fractral said:The original half life. I got it as a present from valve for christmas and I tried to play it but something about that game makes me feel very, very sick. I don't even know what it is- I just cannot play more than 10 minutes at a time without feeling like you do when you try and read in a car. Which is a shame, because I loved HL2 and the game is supposed to be quite good.
Mistah Jay Cee Denton, in da fresh! Deus Ex looks absolutely hideous, to the point that the visuals damage the experience, but it's still one of my favourite games.fireaura08 said:Deus Ex (the original). I played it for the first time last year (over the summer) and boy, did it look bad. The voice acting in some parts (Hong Kong) was worse. At the very least, it was a lot of fun.
Well I think they're ugly, but it doesn't hurt my eyes. DKCR is the only game I've ever played that does this, which just confuses me, because it looks nice.MetalDooley said:Maybe you just have a subconscious dislike of gorillas?Perhaps because of some traumatic experience at at zoo when you were youngGeneralTwinkle said:I honestly have no idea what it is. The game looks fine, but it's the only game I've ever played where after 15 minutes I just have to stop. I can't put my finger on it, it's not ugly and there's not a lot of flashes or anything...
And even if it was ugly, I play starcraft I on a regular basis, I don't mind bad graphics.
Seriously though that is weird.Do the original DKC games on SNES affect you the same way?

Yeah, I played Parasite Eve and Vagrant Story about a week ago and it was weird, oh how far in gaming we have come.SnootyEnglishman said:Playing certain PS1 games on a giant fancy TV..it's weird looking at pixels on an LCD screen. Other than that i don't put much of my opinion on a game based on it's graphics. I care more about the part where i am able to start pushing buttons.
Don't know. I remember the game being good, but I couldn't get over the horrible graphics and animations to play it again.Gorfias said:Was the game good despite the graphics?LetalisK said:Thief 2. Fired it up to try to relive some nostalgia and was horrified by how bad the graphics were. The buildings reminded me of Minecraft, and not in a good way.
Don't worry, I found the Thomas the Tank Engine stuff a while back. I'm used to it now.TizzytheTormentor said:I know...I found out the hard way...I guess that's how most people would find out huh?lacktheknack said:http://www.inquisitr.com/wp-content/rule-34-no-exceptions.jpegTizzytheTormentor said:I thought Rule 34 of Pokemon (actual Pokemon) was something that never existed...then I saw it...
NO. BLEEDING. EXCEPTIONS.
