Halo 3. The bloom lighting in the jungle at the start just made me immediately quit the game.

The original half life. I got it as a present from valve for christmas and I tried to play it but something about that game makes me feel very, very sick. I don't even know what it is- I just cannot play more than 10 minutes at a time without feeling like you do when you try and read in a car. Which is a shame, because I loved HL2 and the game is supposed to be quite good.
Try going into the console (press the tilde key, or whatever else might be right above the tab key), and type "default_fov 100". You can try different values, to find one that suits you.

It is a VERY common problem, that games have too low a field of view hard-coded into them (especially ones that are written for consoles first and ported to PC later.)

Pretty much Sims 2. I remembed it vaguely (that is, running out of the building, barricading the bathroom, and lighting the bathroom on fire with my ex's new partner. No, really, I did that for giggles with cheats). Then, I played it again. Oh god, the fact that all the characters have these weird, constantly shiny foreheads and stupid, almost always somehow chubby-face and that the game is just completely choppy during some animations.

Also, Oblivion. I like the aesthetic, the big forests and the castles and ruins, but everything else, especially the faces, just looked god-awful.

Deus Ex (the original). I played it for the first time last year (over the summer) and boy, did it look bad. The voice acting in some parts (Hong Kong) was worse. At the very least, it was a lot of fun.
Mistah Jay Cee Denton, in da fresh! Deus Ex looks absolutely hideous, to the point that the visuals damage the experience, but it's still one of my favourite games.

I spill my drink!

I honestly have no idea what it is. The game looks fine, but it's the only game I've ever played where after 15 minutes I just have to stop. I can't put my finger on it, it's not ugly and there's not a lot of flashes or anything...

And even if it was ugly, I play starcraft I on a regular basis, I don't mind bad graphics.
Maybe you just have a subconscious dislike of gorillas?Perhaps because of some traumatic experience at at zoo when you were young

Seriously though that is weird.Do the original DKC games on SNES affect you the same way?
Well I think they're ugly, but it doesn't hurt my eyes. DKCR is the only game I've ever played that does this, which just confuses me, because it looks nice.

The original Unreal was a truly brilliant game back in the day ... but there it sits, installed on my desktop, remaining incomplete because I suffer a hypothetical stroke every time I boot it up.

UT2004 isn't as good looking as I remembered, but I can still play it - UT99 is exactly as I remember it and I can play that fine too, I just can't touch U1.

I recently gave Doom 3 a re-download too. It's just mind-numbing how dodgy the graphics look. Back when it came out they were good, but now it looks like everything's covered in a film of super-reflective water - that odd overly shiny effect; and when I look at the floor my screen seems to, I dunno how to describe it, stretch weirdly rather than just be - a downward view of the floor. It's not my PC as I've seen 3rd party footage with the same thing.

While not a game, the grammar in the OP brought me to attack my eyes feverishly.
OT: Deus Ex has horrifically dated graphics
I love Morrowind, but I can't play it without some nice graphics mods.
I find that most games that went for super 'realistic' and detailed graphics age poorly. A game that develops it's own more unique presentation generally remains nice to look at.

Playing certain PS1 games on a giant fancy TV..it's weird looking at pixels on an LCD screen. Other than that i don't put much of my opinion on a game based on it's graphics. I care more about the part where i am able to start pushing buttons.
Yeah, I played Parasite Eve and Vagrant Story about a week ago and it was weird, oh how far in gaming we have come.

OT: I'm not very big on graphics since all I can about is how the game plays and if I'm having fun.

Powermonger. I loved that game back in the day but when I installed it a few weeks ago and I saw the graphics I just couldn't stand it.

Thief 2. Fired it up to try to relive some nostalgia and was horrified by how bad the graphics were. The buildings reminded me of Minecraft, and not in a good way.
Was the game good despite the graphics?
Don't know. I remember the game being good, but I couldn't get over the horrible graphics and animations to play it again.

I know...I found out the hard way...I guess that's how most people would find out huh?
Don't worry, I found the Thomas the Tank Engine stuff a while back. I'm used to it now.

Most of the PS2 games I go back to do that at first. After the first hour I get used to it again.
For some reason it seems like games from the last gen didn't age well at all. I dug out Fuzion Frenzy at a party recently and a lot of us couldn't stand to look at it.

Yeah, it might have something to do with SD and HD. I just popped in Burnout Takedown and bleh.
