I played CoD online a few times. I know quick-scoping is cool, and that it takes some skill to pull off consistently, but now, if you get a kill with a sniper rifle without quick-scoping, you're suddenly a noob. This really knocks me out of a game. I don't care how elite a move is, I would never try to kill an enemy soldier by getting my eye close to the scope and jerking away in real life.

Again, not everyone gets on my case for "hard-scoping." I don't play online because my Internet isn't fast enough, but when I'm playing split-screen with my friends and/or family, no one calls anyone a noob for getting kills with ordinary methods. There's just something about being on the other side of a screen, I guess.

What i really hate are the animal fanboys that threaten people and the their family.
Don't get me wrong there are a lot of vegetarians that are alright but some of them are going to far.

I have seen framers, company's and peoples lives be destroyed and burnt down because they work with meat or animals.

And I know their a small group but its the only fanboy group that really gets on my nerves

Flare Phoenix said:
I'm going to have to say the Transformers fanbase: the fact that a character with the same name appearing in one of the movies gets them so hyped up both amuses and confuses me. Seriously, the amount of enthusiasm just because the new movie used the term "Wrecker" was astounding. Not to mention the lengths they'll go to to defend anything with the Transformers name in it. Seriously, if I hear "Oh it's a Bay Film so it should get a pass" or "You're not supposed to think about it" one more time I'm going to scream!
That's actually pretty funny. Pretty much every Transformer fan I've ever met is upset about the fact that the movies exist at all. Actually, they're upset that anything that exists after the original cartoon never should have even been made.

Never mind all the progress Transformers has had in spite of the movies, what with the toys themselves better than ever and a surge of great cartoons.

So, apparently you and I have come into contact with very different people. Odd.

BTW, nice Persona 4 avatar. Gotta love Naoto.

OT: I would have to say that about 90% of the XBox live community. As MovieBob once said in a Game Overthinker episode:

"Seriously, wanna try a fun experiment?

Create an XBL account and identify yourself as anyone other than a heterosexual white male.

Go on. Go see how PLEASANT everyone is to you."

What a lovely bunch of people.

Avatar The Last Airbender has vicious ship wars, and ridiculous instances of over-sexualized twelve year olds.

Harry Potter has Draco in Leather Pants. And more self-insert fanfics than there are humans on earth.

Nearly everyone on the Modern Warfare/CoDpiece-whatever servers are emotionally stunted, penis-obsessed nitwits.

Also, those kids who read approximately 100 or so pages of Nietzsche and constantly name-drop them in every single gorram class they attend, no matter the relevance or context. I mean seriously, who name-drops Nietzche in chemistry lab?

..... I am fairly certain there are many that are much worse, but I am fearful to tread in the cesspit that they inhabit.

I know someone earlier mentioned Doctor Who fandom, but I haven't seen much viciousness, although I have seen various interpretations of canon that rival PhD theses in length. It's hilarious, although there is a disturbing pre-occupation with using the sonic screwdriver as a vibrator.

OH, I had almost forgotten, several years ago I attempted to explore the section of fanfic.net that contained Soul Caliber stuff, naive youth that I was; I have never seen so many badly written, abuse-addled, horribly justified sex scenes in my life. I cannot unsee the horror.

Juggalos and their ideology of family revolving around mediocre music. It just astounds me how they get defensive to the point of threats if you do not like ICP , if you look up the song miracles by icp and then the defense videos on youtube you'll see what i mean.

Us halo fans aren't as bad as what most people think.

I wouldn't even call the stereotypical halo fan A halo fan. After COD 4, they all moved to that, etc...

It'd be more appropriate to say they are fans of whatever us uber popular at the time.

I agree with people who have said certain anime fans, weaboos specifically. Hetalia fandom is among the absolute worst. I like the show, but how obsessive some people are about it frankly creeps me out and angers me at times. I'm sorry, but dressing up as a Nazi and pointing a gun at a synagogue is not cute or funny to me. It's just disrespectful. I also think that the often blatant disrespect for the flags of any given country is just appalling. Does that make me an oversensitive jerk? Maybe, but that's just the opinion I hold.
Of course there's also the obvious fan-tards of Naruto, Bleach, and whatever else is ultra-popular these days. Sadly, I have a cousin that's a total weaboo, so I have to be subjected to the pain of middle-school fangirlism more often than I'd like. One more thing I'd like to point out, is that the word "Otaku" in Japan actually has a negative connotation. I find that funny.

Valve fans are another group that irritate me. Being a regular fan myself, the obnoxious minority of fans that droll on about cake and all the "memes" make me feel slightly ashamed. My Little Pony also falls into this category. It's not a bad show, and a lot of fans are perfectly reasonable. It's the small group of loud-mouths that ruin it for everyone. Why can't people just be a fan of something, without becoming creepy-obsessive or annoying about it? >:/
