The Beach is very near the top of my list. Was never a DiCaprio fan to begin with (keep in mind this is pre-Scorsese), and didn't need another movie with him being a whiny pouty brat. But that's exactly what we got. And oh so pointless.

At the midpoint of the movie, when Leo was banished to the jungle and started pretending he was living in a VIDEO GAME (complete with pixelated camera view and rolling score), I knew I was only watching this now to see if it has the one element that makes my list of Best DiCaprio movies ever, including Titanic, Quick and the Dead, and Romeo and Juliet.

It did not have that element: he was not killed at any point in the movie. Cementing its place as my second-least-favorite ever.

The Mosquito Coast was just completely pointless, and a waste of a good Harrison Ford, River Phoenix and Helen Mirren.

I don't know, I have a very good sense of what movies will bore or annoy me. Out of movies I wasn't sure about and watched, well... I guess that would be Boogeyman.

"OK, that was almost sort of scary... wait, did the uncle just die? Am I supposed to feel sorry for him or scared for the protagonist? I kind of hope he dies now. Wait... there it is! Hold on a second. That can't be the Boogeyman, it's a CG mess, I can barely tell what it is. Is it dead? Well, cool. That means I can do something else now."

Boring, bad acting, no atmosphere, least scary movie monster since... um... I guess ever.

(also on my personal note... Tron)
are you predicting the quality of the new one or the old one
My opinion on the old one
the new one looks like it could be really good

but honestly the only people I know who like tron, are uber nerds that say "it's good because he's in a game!" and that's about it... I too am an uber nerd but I watched the movie and simply said "no"

the next one looks like it has potential but looks like it's taking way to hollywood of an approach.

Note: I have no opinions on movies I've never seen

EDIT: no strong opinions that will keep me from seeing or not seeing it; other then genre... I will not watch pointless slashers, if I want a horror movie I'll play Amnesia
the only part i really enjoyed of that movie was the lightcycles and the costume design...
honestly i dont remember the plot vividly.

you guys are all naming movies that have great reviews! what's wrong with you! a truly terrible movie would have near universal negative review and such. i nominate baby geniuses 2 for worst film ever, because it is creepy, dumb, painful, dull, and irritating. mostly creepy.

I absolutely DESPISED Shyamalan's Last Airbender, bad actors, dialogue had me cough up a piece of my lung, plus during the action it took em like 30 seconds to do a simple Earth/Fire/Water/Air bending move. Seriously.

And this is coming from the guy who liked The Happening.

I HATED 2012, possibly the most boring movie ever!
They try to build up suspense, even giving us hope that Nicolas Cage might die, but noooooo they let him survive, over and over and over and over and OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!
RAGE!!!
Yeah, that was John Cusack... plus, it had fantastic special effects.

Some movies that I recently watched that were really bad were Friday the 13th, Natural Born Killers, and Last House on the Left.

Most movies that are really bad are so bad that they retain some level of enjoyment. I like to call this the Ed Wood effect.

The movies that I truly hate are the ones that are just boring and pointless, but people seem to love them for some reason. These films include, but are not limited to, Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather Trilogy, Scarface and many others.

These are movies that are just not that great, but for some reason people love them. People look at me funny when I talk about not liking them, like I just told them I enjoy kicking puppies. Through having to defend my position so many times, I have come to truly hate movies like this.

...and anything Michael Bay has ever done.
You best be trollin'
Scarface was kinda crappy, BUT THE GODFATHER AND THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION???

Anyhoo, Daybreakers was pretty damn bbad

I've seen clips of The Room and watched the joint review by Nostalgia Critic, Linkara, and Spoony...

However, I haven't actually "watched" it.

The worst film I've seen in a theater is probably Bio-Dome (long story short, I was duped, my dad told me it was a Sci-Fi film about living in an eden-project style biome).

The worst film I've seen out of a theater is by far "I was a Teenage TV Terrorist." <img src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/49/TVTerroristVHS.jpg" /img>

The runner up would be Battlefield: Earth.

Inception

Off the top of my head, I would have to say 9.
There is more than likely something worse though.

Gamer. I can't believe I sat through that piece of crap (it's on Netflix, and, hell, I was curious enough and bored as hell that day) that made two of my favorite actors look bad. What the hell was up with that musical number and that "almost rape" scene? The only good thing about that movie was that it had an interesting premise, but apparently Mark Neveldine thought it'd be ok to have an interesting premise, but "add weird fetishes, gamer stereotypes, and tits and it'll be OK!"

"A Serbian Film" and "Salo: 120 Days of Sodom" share the No.1 spot for me.
Trust me, Pasolini didn't touch 1% of the filthy depravations that the Marquis de Sade put in "Salo: 120 Days of Sodom". In fact, it's so bad, it's so horrendous, that Sade couldn't finish the book and it's still published even though isn't even completed. And it's barely readable as well. Each time I attempt to read it, I must put it back after 10 minutes because I have a sudden attack of cluster headache.

Gotta admire how Pasolini's crew made the immense turd cake, though. Yes, you heard right. An. Immense. Shit. Cake.

9. That was just... no.

that, and pretty much every Eddie Murphy movie, with exception to Dr. Dolittle.

And I almost forgot: Eragon. They fucking ruined it. I get that they had to compress it a bit, but COME ON.

I still can't read the book without that stupid movie ruining it.

2001: A Space Travesty. At least the title was correct, this movie was a travesty. More than that, it was a crime against humanity.
