No one has yet mentioned the F*ING MAX PAYNE MOVIE. There simply ain't words bad enough to describe that crap. The mtckng director had perfect -everything- in his hands and he managed to assf*ck every bit of the charm of the game and it's character, events, plot, action...

The worst that I've personally seen has to be the remake of the Wicker Man. "NOT THE BEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!" The audience in the theater I was at started laughing during at least three parts of the movie.

war of the worlds, and not just because i'm allergic to tom cruise, it takes a well written piece of literature, slits its throat and drains of all life blood, and the american film industry has done this so many times and its really starting to get on my nerves.
No really enjoyed that film, I reckon they modernized it well and made an extremely epic thriller.

If we are actually being serious about the 'The Worst Film Ever' I would say Spider Island wins this hands down.
perhaps you should read the book, the only things that film has in relation to the book is martions and the title, there was no lightning in the book, there was no giant cosmic storm clouds in the book, tom cruise does not play a london journalist like the story says he should, in the book the journalist doesnt drag two kids with low IQ's round with him, and i could go on but i'd sound a bit wierd so i'll just end with tom cruise scientologist can't act.
Just because it didn't follow the book doesn't mean it's bad in anyway. In fact, I prefer if it was different because whenever they make a remake of an old movie it turns out to be alot worse than the original.

I reckon the lightning and storms made it alot more intense adding more to the fear factor of the invasion (extermination). The movie is by no means perfect or the greatest of films but it is fun and I wish they explained what the red weed was supposed to do.

for films that i haven't seen? any High School Musical, any made for tv disney movie, and anything with Linsey Lohan.

for films i have seen, there are three who hold a very important part of my mind ransom.

3rd: Ultraviolet
2nd: Shaolin Soccer

and to understand my number one worst film, you need to go back to my childhood. the first PG-13 movie I ever saw. Street Fighter. now, at the time, it was the coolest thing i ever saw. it had everything a ten year old gamer needed to crap his pants with excitement. a Liescened Game (let alone a good one), it had the badass good guy (guile), the good side bad boys (ryu and ken), the damsel in distress... sorta (chun li), and the ultimate evil (bison). plus enough explosions to level my entire neighborhood and dozens of snappy one liners.

that was 12 years ago. i watched it again a month ago to re-live my childhood. i found myself not able to turn away and constantly laughing. but not for the reasons i did when i was ten. it was because i started to realize that this movie was AWFUL. Ryu was asian, Ken didn't have blonde hair, Bison compaired himself to Ghandi, Hitler, AND Jesus throughout the movie, and the character that the game seemed so intent on letting us all know he's from the states had the worst English in the entire movie (his name is Charlie, Mr. Van Damme. not "chourleh"). and all the martial arts were so amazingly fake, the once snappy one liners were all sooo retarded, and oh yeah, THERE WAS NO HADOUKEN! plus, now being 22, i was dissapointed in not seeing Chun Li in her classic outfit (i'm a guy, what do you expect?).

so why does this get my vote for worst movie ever? cause it showed me that i was a complete Retard as a kid.
