I thought it was RE5 when I played the demo, but I made the mistake of going into it expecting some good zombie-killing. When I played it again it was a lot more fun.

Now I have to go with most of the third-person GoW style hack-n'-slashes. They're all pretty much going to a mini arena, spamming one attack, moving to another one and repeating. And all the overdone animations and massive weapons just don't appeal to me.

From what I managed to play, Star Trek: Online. Space combat is quite good, but very repetitive, groud combat is awful, it has more bugs in it than a rainforest and it just has this overwhelming feel of being unfinished.

Then again, they should of spent longer on it than rushing it out the way they did.

Rise of the Argonauts. Borrowed it from a friend and tried it because my friend said it's really bad. And it is.

Huh? Why is it bad, the combat's entertaining and visceral and the story seems ok.

I agree with you Rise of the the Argonauts is no Mass Effect 2 or Dragon age but it is quite entertaining! When there is a paucity of decent Western R.P.G's it actually fills a gap and prevents me from having to resort to playing JRPG's again until Fall Out Vegas is released.

I keep buying JRPG's and trying to convince myself I like them, but it always fails. They are good games but not to my taste. I can only play a teenager with bad hair so many times! Even when the characters name is my Surname as in the case of Star Ocean. Edge maverick was possibly the least annoying protagonist I have come across in his defence and it did remind me of japenese Mass effect.
