Everquest: House of Thule.

Ahem. But yes. Infinite Undiscovery takes the cake for me. And it wasn't that good either.

That's meant to be a silly title btw
True, but as are Dejobaan's two games. To some people, they just come out stupid.

Atelier Rorona:The Alchemist of Arland.

Come on man. What the damn is that?
An atelier belonging to a character named Rorona, who is an alchemist in the city of Arland?

Although now that you mention it, that does make it sound like the atelier is the alchemist.

I always thought "Masterblaster" and "Blaster Master" were weird, not only because the names are so similar, yet they are two completely different games by two completely different developers, but also because every time I heard or read it, I'm reminded of a midget riding an armored man with developmental disabilities in a dystopian future settlement run by Tina Turner and a short man with a doll head on a stick.

Starcraft. It's quite bad when you consider that no stars are ever crafted during the course of the game. /lamejoke

Also this. Couldn't they have just shortened the ridiculous title to "ignorance," since they basically mean the same thing?

D.

Just the letter "D". That's unsearchable.

And how about those long titles like: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow.

Also 'Two Worlds Two' is pretty hilarious.

(OT: funny how 'unsearchable' is obviously a valid word, since I get no spellcheck warning... As I do on the word 'spellcheck'.)
based on the box art and the D... is that a vampire hunter D game? Because well his name is D (and now I want to watch it but alas I do not have it here w/ me)

OT: I had one when I entered the thread, but while reading comments I have drawn a complete blank... if I remember I shall return.

Edit: that didn't take long. Toejam and Earl

No. It is about Vampires, but not related to VH:D

Also, for my contribution: Rape Lay.

Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy.
I loved the first Dissidia, but what the hell is the title supposed to mean?
(I think "Dissidia" comes from a word meaning battle or discord, but "Duodecim?" The hell? Is it supposed to be like duo (2) and decim[al] (10), equaling 12? I just don't get it...)
That's how you pronounce 12 in Latin. :/

But anywho, I would go with:

-Infinite Undiscovery
-F3ar
-Demon's Souls
-.hack
-Ar Tonelico
-Panzer Dragoon Orta
-Atelier Iris
-Baten Kaitos
-Shin Megami Tensei
-Blazblue
-Ys :)/)
-Disgaea (Come on, it's just weird)
-Xenosaga/Xenogears
-R.U.S.E
-Arc Rise Fantasia

Maybe it's because I've played the games, but KH: Birth by Sleep and 358/2 don't sound that bad because they actually have a reason for being named like that. But you gotta play the game in order for it to make sense. Now something like Infinite Undiscovery, though...
