Mass Effect 2: Collector's Edition. After the pure bliss that was ME1 I expected the sequel to be, I don't know, better? Turned out to be a fucking disappointment. I'm not saying the game is bad, it's just not better than the first one and certainly not worth the price I paid.

Fable 3: Collector's Edition (feel free to go ahead and laugh)

I don't know why but I thought Lionhead studios and Molyneaux had finally realized they errors of the ways and finally made a good Fable game. They didn't. It was rushed and it was padded more that 5 foot thick mattress.

Well and I figured if John Cleese was willing put his soothing voice into it then it must be the witch's bollocks.
...
Its not.
You are not alone... I did that too >_<

But that is not my worst game purchase. I bought the BioShock 2 collector's edition and I've barely played an hour of the game... at least I finished Fable 3. What a waste...

TES4: Oblivion. Pre-ordered it thinking it would fix what made Morrowind shit, but they made it even worse.
Really? You must have a good run if that was the biggest waste of money. Personally, I played worse RPGs. JRPGs. All of them.

Fable 3, oh how you dissapointed me.

With your limited character interaction and terrible leveling up system, you will always have a place in my heart as the worst game I ever payed money for.
Mine is Fable II,

I pre-ordered that pile hoping for an improved Fable the lost chapters, what I got was a shit single button masher. Didn't even care enough about 3 to pirate it; I'd rather not give Molyneux the impression he made something good enough to steal.

Risen was absolutely terrible, played about 20 minutes of it and it was possibly the worst game I have ever played.

My worst purchase would have to be either Final Fantasy 13 or White Knight Chronicles. Both looked good and both made me wish I had rented or just borrowed from a friend. Of the two I'd have to say FF13 was the worse purchase because I had high hopes for it.

Most recent in my mind, probably either Pilotwings or Super Monkey Ball Adventure.

The former just felt slow and uninteresting, it quickly got left inside my box of games for the sake of LoZ: OoT, DSi/3DSware and Pokemon Black.

The latter, i only played it a little, it felt clunky and slow, it didn't feel like the first monkey ball game where it plopped you on a puzzle chain dealie, but this one has you exploring or somthing...genre change or what? (was playing the PSP version, havn't touched it in over 2-3 years)

Either Bioshock 2 or Borderlands.

I got really bored really fast to Bioshock 2. It was simply too much of the same. Borderlands I never finished because I didn't know how much the campaign sucks if you're not playing co-op.
Its exactly the same if your not playing co op....

Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions (Or whatever). Remind me why enough people bought this game to warrant a special edition again? This game just...
It's everything the Japanese does wrong.

The worst purchase in recent memory was buying Duke Nukem Forever. It had load times way too long for my tastes. The turret and vechicle sections seem to be only padding. It doesn't capture the feel of Duke Nukem 3D. I didn't mind ego as I thought it was something that fits the character. I know they recently patched the game so that you can carry 4 guns at once but I don't really care about that at this point. I traded it in and I intend to put that money towards TES: Skyrim.

Spore, hands down. You breeze through the first 3 parts in an afternoon, then they drop a single-player MMO in your lap.

Modern Warfare 2, closely followed by Black Ops. In terms of bad full price purchases that is. Worst game I've purchased ever, ignoring price? Frontlines: Fuel of War. That was something under 5 bucks on Steam... and I wish I had that money back. I regret all 73 minutes of that game I played.

As for MW2 being barely able to be worse than BO... the inner part of the disc broke, so now the 360 won't read it. Not to mention the only part of the game worth playing was Spec Ops, and that's not worth 60 bucks. Not to mention BO having only a bit of fun with Combat Training and the zombies. But then again, if I really want to play a zombie game, I go play Killing Floor. I really should have saved all that money... especially considering to even get BO, I had to spend in excess of 300 bucks since around that time my 360 died, so I spend 200 getting a new one, and also 2 1-yr XBL thingies, one for me and one for a friend. I also regret those purchases... I don't play online much anyways. I get bored easily with people online.

Fable 2.

Sucked. Crashed my 360 multiple times until I had to get a new one.

I am never planning on getting a new Fable game ever.

Fable and the PC Lost Chapters were as good as they get.

I liked Shadowrun better then that.

in recent memory, Bioshock 2 & DA2, both didnt live up to the first in my opinion.
DA hurt the most as i loved Origins
Brink, no game that uses bots on multiplayer maps shouls be allowed to advertise that as single player
