Bioshock 2. Obviously
That was a terrible game. Twenty minutes in I was so disgusted I uninstalled it. It was nothing but an excuse to make pixels suffer.

Another one! Kingdom under Fire for the xbox 360. A friend of mine recommended it to me. I don't think I got more than fifteen minutes in.

I believe I am about to win this thread; Terminator Salvation on the PS3... if you played it, you will KNOW what I mean. :( So bad. So very very bad.
How could you not see that coming?

I rented it out to laugh at its shittiness.

I don't usually buy stuff brand new. The AvP 2010 wasn't great, $80 I'll never see again.
I saw game play, and thought, "Could it be this game is the first movie-based game to not totally screw up? It wasn't until I was 30 minutes into it that I realized I had made a mistake. The vehicle sections... oh the horror....

Fable 3. I'd rather play Fable 10 times...heck I'd rather play fable 2 again. I research most of my games and I love or am happy with the games I get weither I researched it or not. Unfortunately I knew I wouldnt like fable 3 before it even came out but my friend kept annoying me to no end to get it since it was "AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING". -_- So I got it a week or so after launch and I was yawning about an hour into it.... it never got better.

Metroid: Other M. It's not quite as bad as some say, but it was a massive disappointment, and between the awful story and awkward controls I just put it down and never finished it.

On the other end of the spectrum, I have gotten so much enjoyment out of the multiplayer of Borderlands (well, not so much anymore but back when it first came out my friends and I played it for months) and Halo: Reach that I think they were way more than worth the full price.

Fable freaking III.

And without reading the rest of the topic, I am going to assume that Fable games in general got the most votes.
It's too close to call, but it's one of the bigger contenders (alongside Black Ops/MW2, FFXIII and Too Human).

OT: I don't think I've ever bought a bad game at full price. In fact, the only game I remember buying for the full £40 (britun 4evar!) is Halo: Reach, so that is by default best, worst, and all in between.

Now let's keep in mind that I have bought about... three games in my life that were 60$. Gta Vice City. Why? BEcause the only other games I've bought at that price were Fallout New Vegas and Mass Effect 2.

I don't buy games at full price very often. Especially now, it's rarely worth it.

I don't think I have ever bought a game for full price, the first S.T.A.L.K.E.E.R., Mirror's Edge, Dawn of War II Chaos Rising, Fallout 3 GOTY are the ones that have come closest to get my 50 euros, but they only got around 40.

I don't remember if it really was $60, but I bought Force Unleashed (Wii) at launch and felt cheated. From what I read online, it's a good thing I didn't buy the second one.

Black Ops for PC. If I got it for console, it would have been fine. For PC? No. The next CoD that I buy will be my last one ever and that will be Modern Warfare 3 for the story. Unlike some people, I actually enjoyed it.

Either MW2 or Black Ops.
MW2 was more briken and still is but black ops stopped getting fun much faster than MW2 and I've pretty much ended my cod playing.

AvP. I felt so ripped off. I didn't expect much of the campaigns anyway but the lack of multiplayer support was a slap in the face. Completely unbalanced, broken and unplayable.

Test Drive Unlimited. Came off the back of having played GT5, first thing you do is drive a Ferrari California and right from the first wheel turn I knew this was going to be a bad game. Lucky for me I didn't get far enough it to the game for the woeful car physics to kill it totally, instead a bug that made my car start jumping like a Mexican jumping bean and could not be resolved by changing race, reloading and had occurred on the third race I took part in put the nail in this game for me. Sent it back and got a full refund, thank you distance selling rules.

Worst game I kept, Black Ops on PS3, why the hell did I buy this game on console I will never know, either that or Spore.

I love Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but the amount of content doesn't really feel worth $60, so I regret that a little.

Fun for the first 60 minute. then you've done everything there is to do...
You must be amazingly inventive to do everything that is entertaining within the space of 60 minutes
