Worst Game You've Ever Played?

What is the worst game you have ever played and why is it bad?

For me I would have to say White Knight Chronicles II, because of its repetitiveness and overall it's just a boring game.

It wasn't really bad as much as exceedingly mediocre, but it was this one Star Trek game called Star Trek: Encounters. How the hell can you make Deep Space Nine space battles boring? By giving the game a control scheme that requires four more thumbs than most humans own.

Objectively, Superman 64. I was only like 10 and I was so sad. It was so bad, I asked my mom to take me back to Blockbuster to get something that didn't blow so terribly.

Subjectively, probably Condemned 2, what with the Goku voice shout... thing.

Probably Fade to Black on the PS1 such a tragic example of a classic 2D platformer needlessly switching to 3D and ruining everything.

I haven't played Bubsy 3D but just looking at it makes me wonder what the hell they were thinking.

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing, although to be honest, I specifically played to sample a truly terrible game.

Objectively, it would be Sonic 2006. Horrible controls, broken physics, lousy story, boring gameplay and obnoxiously long loading times up your ass every 5 seconds.

I think the worst game I have ever played would probably be this old X-Box game called Pulse Racer. Crappy controls, bland environments, only 3 different tracks (not exaggerating, there were literally only 3 tracks), terrible design... It was just awful.

Probably Beach Life. It looked pretty, but it was frustrating, boring and linear.

I'm sure there were a few PS1 games I played that were barely even functional, but I can't remember any titles.

ET the extra terrestrial or whatever the name of that old game based on ET was called. It's pretty classic for it's sheer terribleness (it's apparently up there in the top 10 of worst games of all times) and chances are you've heard of it. I can honestly say it was the most nauseatingly fucking awful thing I've ever played.

I have played Superman 64 and I definitely agree with you. That game was terrible.

Worst game I think I've ever played? It's a toss up between Dead Island and Cathrine, but at least Dead Island pulled weight in multiplayer.

So, probably Cathrine.

Shellshock 2. Horrible in every regard. Of the games I have played (I'm usually a great judge of good/bad) the normal minimum would be around 5/10, this was around -3/10 or so.

It was in a bargain bin at the game store for $3, but I still took it back.

My brother plays Dynasty Warriors... and he actually likes it :O

That would be Pimp My Ride: The Game

You customize cars (which is staggeringly more disappointing than you would expect), then you drive the car back to the client and the driving controls are dogshit. Along the way back you can play "minigames" and "side missions" which basically involve quick time events that control people in the neighbourhood dancing around your car while you slowly drive it through the street.

Oh and terrible voice acting.
