Hitler's decision to invade Russia, if we want to stick closely to the "history" theme.
If he didn't invade Russia the Russians were going to invade Germany.
The Treaty (or whatever it was called) was just for both sides to build up their forces because they both new the other was planning to invade them.
But then, arguably, it was stupid of him to assume he could invade Russia.
In his defence he was on a winning streak.
Slightly on topic... Aren't you the Fascism supporter?
Yes.
Okay, that's sorts things out.

But then, "being on a winning streak" isn't a reason for a politician to want to continue fighting without other reason.
Besides, their Blitzkrieg tactics couldn't have worked because the the luftwaffe had either been or was in the process of being raped by the RAF in the English Channel. While this was going on Monty and the Rats were showed Rommel and his Korps what's what in North Africa, making the oil resources Hitler was going to need rather unobtainable. Making the use of tanks rather impractical by virtue of not being able to power the damned things. And if Hitler's boys thought they were outnumbered in France (and they were) then they had seen nothing yet. In other words Hitler skullfucked his entire country into oblivion and it should have been painfully obvious to him.

Midi-chlorians.
Thank You!
I ask again, Whats wrong with them?
People don't like midi-chlorians for several different reasons

Some misunderstand their purpose and believe that in episode 1, Qui-gon says that the force comes from midi-chlorians, which is untrue. They don't create the force, but merely determine one's sensitivity to it. A person with a high midi-chlorian count will be more force-adept than a person with a lower count.

another reason is that some people don't like to mix science with mysticism. They like the belief that the force is a purely magical entity which is unexplainable through scientific means.

Personally I prefer the scientific approach.

Handing over development of the next Metroid game to 'Team Boobies'. OK, Nintendo lucked out with Retro Studios, but I just don't think lightning is going to strike twice this time.

The foolish ideal in school (my one anyway) that everyone MUST bring a calculator to class to work out every single little problem and not strain our "little brains", its going to drive our I.Q and mathematic capability into the ground in about 300-400 years

Possibly imperialism...
What? If it wasn't for Imperialism, the Romans wouldn't have spread their culture and sciences to the Barbarians. Imperialism set in motion what's happening now.

This thread. But I say that only so no one else can.

The actual worst idea I've seen... Gosh, whatever Disney is doing with TV shows lately. Case and point from back then would be Gargoyles.
Mostly everything. Phineas and Ferb is actually quite clever.

For me it has to be lawn darts. They were basically oversized darts with oversized sharp ends that were thrown in the air, and that always came down point-first.
Completely agreed. Disney in general has turned to the dark side of the force. However; I'm interested in their "A Nightmare Before Christmas." I'm not particularly a Jim Carrey fan, and I know some content will be removed because it has to be Disney'd up (or kid-comedy added), but something about it feels pretty good, for some reason.
Are you aware that Touchstone pictures exists in name only? Its disney, and they made Nightmare before Christmas. They are also Dimension films, Miramax, and Hollywood pictures.
*bangs head repeatedly*

...What in the fuck am I saying *blubbers*

A Christmas Carol. I have no idea why I made that mistake, I wasn't really thinking right. Not A Nightmare Before Christmas, 'on Earth did I... Sorry about that mistake.

I'm actually somewhat interested in Disney's A Christmas Carol.

The logic of witch trials.

"Okay, let's settle this once and for all. We'll throw her in the river. If she's not a witch, she'll drown and die a horrible death (our bad), but, if she can float, she must be a witch, so we'll burn her alive!"
