How is this the WORST idea? DVD rewinders sold like hotcakes because people were unclear on how a laser-read disc system works. It never ceases to amaze me how ignorant people can be.

I would like to say the amount of hype around the segway. And all the promises it made. As for the product itself, it works. It just didn't deliver what it promised.

Also the thing cost 2000 dollars new, did they really expect it to sell that well? it took them 5 years to break even.
