If he didn't invade Russia the Russians were going to invade Germany.
The Treaty (or whatever it was called) was just for both sides to build up their forces because they both new the other was planning to invade them.

Atomic artillery cannons were a pretty big fail.

and that's not what it looked like

First, I've actually seen Atomic Annie, so unless it was a very large and well made prop that is indeed what it looks like.

Second, it's hard not to count a nuclear weapon as a fail when it can't even launch a shell far enough to keep the users safe from fallout.

Actually, the nuke weapon in Fallout 3? It's based on a real weapon. Had a range of about 1-2 miles, and was used (never actually fired though) Heavily in the cold war. Designed to take out roughly 10 square city blocks. Smaller or larger depending on payload. used mostly for defense, against ground troops.

The actual worst idea I've seen... Gosh, whatever Disney is doing with TV shows lately. Case and point from back then would be Gargoyles.

Mostly everything. Phineas and Ferb is actually quite clever.

For me it has to be lawn darts. They were basically oversized darts with oversized sharp ends that were thrown in the air, and that always came down point-first.

Completely agreed. Disney in general has turned to the dark side of the force. However; I'm interested in their "A Nightmare Before Christmas." I'm not particularly a Jim Carrey fan, and I know some content will be removed because it has to be Disney'd up (or kid-comedy added), but something about it feels pretty good, for some reason.

Are you aware that Touchstone pictures exists in name only? Its disney, and they made Nightmare before Christmas. They are also Dimension films, Miramax, and Hollywood pictures.
