If I was to install WoW from scratch, it'd be pretty aweful dur to expansions and patching. Since I played from the beginning, it wasn't so bad only having to worry about the small patching done normaly and the occasional big patch when new content was introduced. The worst was when a patch didn't go as planned and ended up basicly shutting down the game for awhile, sometimes days.
Worst installation I did experience was Diablo 2 where you have to keep switching the disks back and forth, even with the expansion, and then get patches. Even the Betas for it and LoD didn't have to switch disks during installation.
