Sons of Liberty was really, really bad compared to the rest of the Metal Gear Solid games.
This. I still didn't mind it too much, especially when compared to some games of other series (Lookin' at you, Mega Man 7) but the sudden shift (and decline) in protagonist was pretty jarring.

This clip should speak for itself:
At first I was like: Okay, I wonder what part of the game this is. Then I was like: This is suppose to be funny. They I lol'd...

I was a big fan of the Conflict series which is made up of Desert Storm(2), Vietnam, Global Storm... Then Denied Ops went and ruined everything.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent
Sacrifice a shallow, yet working concept by making it more personal and riddling the resulting plot and characterization with gaping, bloody holes was not a good idea. That your key voice actor refused to voice the resulting character in his next development stage should speak for itself. And Conviction wasn't a saving grace either, though at least you made up for bad script writing and character development by introducing me to Archer. Which you then had to ruin too. Meh, Ubisoft. Meh.

Thief, Deadly Shadows
Nice effort. Garrett, Check. Some shiny levels, Check. Does it live up to the original two? No... but... then again, I don't think you are quite to blame for that. You're still a good game, even if the shadow your predecessor cast doesn't allow you to shine in the same light.

Deus Ex, Invisible War
Nice effort--but failed on the execution. I can't say more about you anymore, because I've barred you from my memory.

I'm going to go with Suikoden IV, not because that's my favorite series, but because it was just so much worse than the others in that line.

Battlefield Bad Company 2. Don't get me wrong, the multiplayer is a blast; its really fun.
The story left something to be desired though. I for one want to know what happened to the gold. I remember seeing in a magazine that it was going to be about them hauling it back home and having to fight tooth and nail through Europe, that was a good storyline to be honest. Everyone had their motivations which was the gold, Bad Company's story was very refreshing from games like Rainbow Six, COD, Ghost Recon etc.
If the story was about the gold in some way i.e. the US army caught them and took the gold back, they didn't do anything to them because their Bad Company; its expected. The other thing wrong with it was its seriousness, the thing I loved about the first game was its quirky sense of humour, its still there but it seems a bit out of place when they're all a bit moppy in the last cutscene.
I still love it as an distraction of the day, after all nothing is truly perfect

Zelda 2, ewwwwwwwwwwwww.
Civilization 3, but only because there wasn't enough new things. It was still better than 2 though.
Deus Ex: Invisible War. I still liked it but Deus Ex 1 was way better.
Supreme Commander 2. Let the words "multiplatform release" forever be a reminder that games on consoles and PC mean it is going to be dumbed down. Just look at DA:O, the "spiritual sequel" to a 10 year old game that was way more complex and deep. DA:O was so casual it made me sick. Still awesome game though.

And that's all I got atm.

Overlord 2. Man, do I hate that game. The first one was just great and lovely. It had that "ye olde" adventure feeling to it. The expansion was passable, but the sequel was just so horrible. It added things and expanded on things that didn't need expanding on adding. This also created new mistakes over the old ones.

I'm kind of curious of the Supreme Commander series. I've only played the demo of the second one on PC. Can you explain to me what the difference is between the first and second one?

Grand Theft Auto is easily my favorite series, but it's difficult to pin down the worst one. But it's definitely one of the first games (GTA, GTA: London or GTA 2). I didn't like any of those games and got bored easily while playing them. I like all the other installments (haven't played Chinatown Wars though).

Command & Conquer 4.

The gameplay was radically different from the rest of the series, the unlock system a travesty, the story far to cheesy even for this franchise, and the DRM didn't help either.

Easily the worst entry in the C&C series.

First one has a brutal learning curve (for multiplayer anyway, you basically can't lose in the campaign until the final mission), hundreds of units etc. Supcom 2 you can only have like 5 builder units (re: dumbing down), less units, just overall simpler.

Simpler rarely means better.

Burnout Paradise.

It is kinda fun, and the developer support was Awesome, but it just wasn't Burnout.

Burnout does not work in an Open World enviroment.

(Burnout: Revenge was already kinda disappointing in that most gameplay changes made it worse than Burnout 3, but it was still pretty awesome)

Lets get the obvious out of the way. Super Smash Brothers was a really fun game and SSB Melee was an amazing sequel, but Brawl was big peice of shit! I don't even know how anyone can like it with flaws like random tripping and almost turned based combat.

I didn't enjoy the Metroid games with a story, not only does the dialogue bore me but I really liked them for the uninterrupted mysterious world discovery.

Don't like any of the Zelda games after Majora's Mask, they just didn't do anything that really interested me that was different.

Starfox games after Lylat Wars, found Adventures to be alright but that's it.

Mario Kart games after MK64.

Command & Conquar games after Generals.

I could probably go all day
