Title says it all really, suppose I'll start.
When I was 15 I did a couple of shifts a week on a local farm, herding the cows, feeding the calves, putting fresh straw down for their bedding...
and shovelling loads of cow shit, yep even on Christmas morning, I was awake at 5am, shovelling cow shit for £4 an hour

My dad forced my to help out on my grandfather's farm for no pay. I basically went around doing all the heavy lifting while he did all the easy stuff. I don't care how old he was, I was a weak little 8 year old and bails of hay are actually pretty heavy.

I did the graveyard shift at walmart restalking the shelves, only reason it sucked is because I got fired for talking with a coworker and doing my job at the same time.

Hmm, I worked at a Dunkin' Donuts, me and my coworker were doing stuff the manager was supposed to be doing. Also, I don't care what anyone says, the customer is not always right.

Door-to-door sales. Commission only, selling pay-tv to people in government assisted housing. The type of people who would probably spend money on beer rather than bread.

It's amazing how often the customer is horribly wrong.

Working at Wendy's as a cashier. It gave me a new respect for the crap your typical fast-food worker has to put up with.

I sold Boyscout Popcorn. It was the worst Job I had. The fact that I hated nearly everything to do with it and how it was degrading as shit was the worst 4 hours I ever spent.

The only people who say that are people who never worked in customer service and think they are smarter then the "kids" working in the stores / restaurant.

On topic. My worst job was when I was 15 I was taking care of the exterior look of a hose making business. Cutting grass, pulling weeds, raking, cleaning the exterior, pruning... Pretty much everything to make the building look good from the outside.

True, I had a moron come up to me tonight and ask for a big mac, I'm a chef at a pretty decent restaurant, not a mcdonalds worker. I know it's possible that he was trying to be funny, but the look on this guy's face, the man was serious.

I work as a butcher. I'm technically acting seafood manager, and should make $15 US an hour. I actually make $9.50 an hour, because I am officially just a "meat associate."

Full-time is considered 35 hours a week in the company, and anything over is "overtime." However, you have to work over 40 hours a week to get the time-and-a-half overtime bonus.

I work on average 6 days a week. There've been periods where I've worked literally months without more than 3 or 4 days off per month. I regularly work 14 days without a day off. I've put in 80+ hour work weeks when co-workeres are out sick or on bereavement leave.

All this, and I have a college degree. Sadly, I need to have a post-graduate degree to do anything in my field, and on top of the $20,000 I am in debt, I'll need to go another $20,000 to $50,000 to get my master's degree.

I think I win.
I worked at a haunted house for three years and on year two I misread my calender and went to work on a thursday, where I saw my bosses working a a bizarre contraption, I asked about it and they said "People get bored waiting in line so we got this paintball shooting gallery set up, someone dresses as a zombie and people shoot at them and try to win a t-shirt." they then asked me if I wanted to be the target, I said I'd think about it but all they heard was yes and I got stuck with being shot at for the rest of the year. I came back the next year in hopes of a new position but I ended up getting shot at 2/3 of the days I worked (I had a replacement for some days) for about 7 hours on a busy night (around Halloween it got bad.
I'm very mellow but near the end I became so feed up with customers I almost stormed out after one guy payed $70 to shoot me with 315 shots and shattered my cell phone which I forgot to take out of my pocket.
Thank god I went to a convention during my last week and used all my vacation days.
I'm never going back.

I used to make submarine escape suits for a MoD company when i was younger. the basic suit was made from various different layers that was 'welded' together using high-frequency welding. The material was placed on a tray and pushed into this machine, then i pulled the tray out and put new material on it.
Whenever i slid the tray out, there was a static charge given off, and unluckily it used to always fucking arc across onto my nuts!!
I didnt last long in that job! But it got worse, they used me as 'ballast' for the front of lifeboat when they were testing them (i was a fat fucker in those days!) I think they thought my weight would keep the nose down of the boat. I used to hang on for dear life and scream alot, cos i have a fear of drowning.....the bastards!
I left not long after and got myself a decent job

I worked for a company called Vector. Which is under a company that makes knives. I was just one step above a door-to-door salesman. Meaning I called ahead to see if I could make an appointment to bug the shit out of people. I got paid $15 per appointment, so the money was good, but I felt really damn awkward once I ran out of people I knew to bug. Plus, I wasn't the greatest salesman, so the bosses kept asking me to be more enthusiastic about the blades. I just cannot pull off that level of soulless enthusiasm.
While I did make enough to pay off the knives I had to buy as my demo set, I hated the job soooooo much.

Worked a year in a call center, worst year of my life.
Same, I did tech support. While going through the training course I saw how the company had sucked the soul out of most of the people that worked there.
