Right there has already been a thread about good dialouge lines (surprise surprise Vrex chose a Halo line as a candidate) in games. So once again I chose the obvious logical opposite and made a thread about the single WORST line of dialouge in any game. Quote the line if possible.
My choice, I could mention Jill Sandwich or anything Dante says these days being the equivilant of 'verbal masturbation' or even a few rare points in the otherwise stellerly written Mass Effect where it got slightly melodramatic. But the one line that I hated the most had to be when Chip from Sonic Unleashed says:
"How come that girl didn't know you were you Sonic?"
Seriously the line was bad and the way he said it just made me want to claw at my own face until it BLED. I heard it on a review of the game an let me tell you, knowing that there were more lines like that in the full game was enough to scare me off.
