Worst line of dialouge in a game?

Personally, I thought that this fit pretty well with Angela's psychological instability...

... Besides, it's better than "Eddie, have you gone nuts?!" right after said man threatens to shoot anyone that makes fun of him... Or "You're not friends with that red pyramid thing, are you?" -_-; I love you James, I love you Silent Hill 2, but yikes.

Resident Evil is also quite prone to such occasions. "Stop it, DON'T OPEN that DOOR!" I've got the whole intro cutscene memorized from the original. Steve Burnside is full of cheese. I let Leon die soon after that "right hand" comment.

... Well, so much for one line of dialogue.

It's not technically dialogue, but that laugh the Fairy Spirit Ladies do in Legend of Zelda OoT. That was some creep stuff.

Oh God, the nightmares, MAKE THEM STOP.

Good job Raiden, I would have never guessed that you managed to avoid drowning, if you would have just TALKED about something else

I love Metal Gear Solid, but the second game had the most cringeworthy moments of dialogue in the whole series. It was bordering into Capcom territory, it was just... so... bad.

My favourite is: Sir! We've managed to avoid drowning!

He just sounds so elated with himself. And the moment where he's detailing the moments of his past to the unlikeably Rosemary... I've no idea who on the development team had started watching bad soap operas, but I wonder if they've actually played the game and see what they've wrought upon it.

Edit: Raiden's drowning line seems to have already been mentioned. I shall mention another one: I'M AFRAID OF THE NIGHT.

I really liked the line "your right hand comes off" in RE4 cause it made me laugh.
Also, Dante's lines were a bit cheesy but only in DMC4 and a lot in DMC2.

You want cheesy lines? Naomi in MGS4. Destiny? Oh, just shut up.
Resident Evil 5: the whole script.
Akuma cause he is so full of himself which is sometimes justified but at other times...
In SpiderMan 2, Tobby's acting. Awful. The script was good but the delivery was awkward.
Marvel Nemesis: everyone except spidey.
And of course: Jill Sandwich. Gave me an idea for a little big planet level.

i have to agree with the RE5. but if i had to pick ONE line, it would be the final line said by Sheva, for the sole purpose of being the WORST time, place, and person to say it.

"That was for our fallen brothers!"

I wish there was an option of smacking the bejeesus out of that woman...
