You all know them. It is typical for a game to have some kind of tip or fact whenever it loads (see Oblivion, Fable etc. etc.)

Sometimes they are good, sometimes they are okay and sometimes thay suck. What do you think is the worst loading screen tip.

I say Condemned has it. "Use block to your advantage". NO SHIT! Here I was thinking that it was wise to NOT use block. *facepalm*

Generally the ones explaining the controls, because they don't change if you remap them. If it doesn't change, then it isn't specific enough to be helpful anyway. (e.g. Press the shoot button to shoot.)

Or- I hate this one...

I hate that sometimes a tip would come up, that you would want to read, but the game loads and fades away before you've even had a chance to finish the sentence.

I liked the Warhammer Online one...TIP: The average Warhammer Online team member moved house 3.7 times during the development of this game.

Wow, great tip. I shall now go slaughter orks far more expediently!

Baldur's Gate 2 claimed that you could import your character into Neverwinter Nights.

Not only was it irrelevant to the actual game, it ended up simply being flat-out wrong.

Banjo-Kazooie:Nuts and Bolts has a few tips that are made to be totally useless. I can't remeber any though.

Yeah, I remember that one. Always made me annoyed.
But it was still such a badass game.

Well it goes without saying, BUT Snake is kinda defeating the purpose of the tip.

"If the map takes this long to load, it must be AWESOME!" From Matt Hazard (though it was intentional, so I don't know if I should count it).

I wish I could remember the game, but I swear I remember seeing "Tips appear in this space."
