I was playing RE4 and with little health i was looking for a herb to heal me and then i get my head bitten off by one of those zombies.

GTA:SA just finished that mission where you have to rescue roman from that warehouse (i'm leaving here with roman!!) stocked with dudes with submachineguns. after my 5th attempt, i'm driving away through the industrial place when KABLAM! my car explodes for NO reason, i suspect i drove over a barrel or something. my pad slid from my limp hands as I looked at the screen in disbelief and yelled "WHAT THE FUCK!!!"

Definitely in Rugby 08. There was this one match where EVERYTHING went wrong. All my kicks and drop goals hit the posts, my hooker caused me to lose all my scrums, I lost about 50% of rucks even when I 4 players in the ruck and my opponent 1 or 2, my useless hooker (again) gave away all my lineouts, one of my Wings and my Second Row got injured... it was unbearable.

I love that game! Nobody else seems to have it though, I can't wait for the 2011 one.

I didn't know it was coming out! I'll be looking forward to it obsessively. It'll probably be out for one of the current-gen consoles, which means I'll have to play it on the PC. Which means I have to get a gamepad, and I don't want to spend money on that. Cruel world!
I'd love to see more clubs in the new version, they didn't have enough of them in 08.

Hasn't been confirmed but I wouldn't count on EA missing a chance to make money from the world cup. New clubs would be awsome andI can't wait untill they update the rosters, some of them were out of date even when it came out!

Well my worst luck is in Left 4 Dead when I got tounged by a smoker got stuck behind a pole, then got barfed on by a boomer then a horde of zombie munching on me

I've seen people get pulled off of buildings by smokers, that's quite funny and unlucky for them

burnout 3 .. i was on the final lap of the final race (that i repeated a good 100 times because i kept losing) and just as i was an inch from the finish line ... i dunno what happened my car must of ran over a peice of paper or some shit ... and my car goes into crash sequence and swervs off the road and stops ... as i see 6 quick flashes go past the finish line ... yep ... last place ... and how it happened was still beyond me

i came to the conclusion that the game hated me so i put it in a blender then threw it out of the window .... fuck burnout 3!!!!

I am terrible at racing games, i always crash into every corner and at the lest lap finish line when i'm in first place.

Left 4 dead one comes to mind when in the first part of no mercy the Tank threw a car down the alleyway and killed our entire team

this happened to me too
maybe there's a chance you were playing with me when it happened.

I'd say throwing a grenade in Medal of Honor: Airborne and having a friendly AI run up in front of you and the grenade explodes on you

GTA4, I was in an alleyway armed to the teeth, shooting at anything that came inside my little killzone. Fairly soon a helicopter came on to the scene, harmlessly clacking about, unable to hurt me in my narrow sanctuary as I gunned down wave after wave of donut biters.

After ten or so minutes, the omnipresent clacking stops, and I turn around to see a curious sight. The tail of the helicopter is sitting not 10 meters behind me, as if it had always been there.

Then, in a "waaaait a minute" moment, I look directly up just in time to see the rest of the helicopter come crashing down on my sorry ass.

They really wanted me dead, apparently.

Mine would be left 4 dead, i was achievement hunting man vs tank with 1 of my buddies on normal and somehow got it to glitch so the tank spawn when the heli shows up in no mercy got stuck on the chopper till my friend went and pissed it off at which point suddenly i found my self face to face with another one who hit me away from my hiding place and to add to the un-coolness straight to a THIRD tank yes three tanks. I don't know how many of you read ctrl-alt-del comics but after being incapped by them all three then gathered to beat me to death, and to top it off I was even Francis.

Pretty much in GTA: Vice City. I remember it being a mission where I had managed to get to my chopper, fly back halfway across the blasted city before landing at my base to finish a mission but I flew too low to the ground and the FBI shot my ass down.

I one missed at point blank range 3 times with a full condition 10mm in V.A.T.S

WoW of course: when I'm healing the dps gear drops, when I'm dps the tank gear drops, etc.

Diablo 2 was almost as bad, MF up the wazoo and it still took a bajillion meph runs to get anything worthwhile.

I would say Fallout 3. Dying at a automatic save point, so when I loaded I had two Murlocs on top of me, one hit and I was dead with no time to use VAT or even run. The next save point was an hour ago. Gutted.

Almost completing the one man army award on GTA4 and the game glitched and I was hit by a police car which sent me flying straight up into the air into the blades of an annaialator and landing on a train track, I survived all that nad then got ran over by a train.

The easiest way to get that acheivment if it`s the one i`m thinking of (the 6 star survival one?) is to head for liberty island (i think it`s called happiness island) as at most you`ll have 1 chopper and maybe 2 or 3 S.W.A.T after you also there`s a vending machine on the island so stock up on ammo and head there if you haven`t yet got the acheivement

Actually, when you've unlocked Algonquin, but not Alderney, going to Alderney will give you 6 stars right away... And what's the easiest way to do that when the bridges are locked? That's right, the flying thing that the police can never even hope to catch you in because even the best flying thing in the game doesn't come with rockets.

Heh never botherd to try that myself by the time i was acheivement hunting i`d wrapped up the story so it depends on when you start looking for the acheivement i guess,still good advice ,better than mine if you`re early in especially as you won`t have RPG or the cash to get full ammo and armor

Only Guitar Hero 3 comes to mind at the moment. I was trying to hit all the notes (get 100%) on a song. When the stats came up it said that I missed one... Just one damn note and my score went to hell.

I also have the bad luck of saving in an RPG when my character falls, is attacked, is on fire and so on, instead of hitting the load button.
