Worst luck in a game.

In mario kart, anything that involves a shell.

In Super smash brawl, just about anytime I attack someone I usually end up getting screwed over by some last second crap.

In Halo 3, Just about anything that could go wrong will. One of the main reasons I stopped playing it.

In Gears of war 2, I always stick my head out at the wrong time and get sniped.

Almost completing the one man army award on GTA4 and the game glitched and I was hit by a police car which sent me flying straight up into the air into the blades of an annaialator and landing on a train track, I survived all that nad then got ran over by a train.

Ouch, that is some serious injuries. Unlucky mate.

Battlefield 2142 Suez Canal - There was some guy camping the titan with a chopper - and their titan was raping the ground spawns with talons.

I got a death streak of 16 :C

im on call of duty 4 and its the the first time our entire clan decided to go on an online game and guess what my. connections really bad but oh no im not lagging im walking around like everyone else. guess whats wrong with it....yep i cant bloody kill anyone even when i unload a full clip into the back of their head at pointblanck range.
i must have got about 3-16 kd spread i was annoyed.


also i was sneaking around a random grenade thrown from quite literally the other side of the map replaces my face with shrapnel.

(fair enough good on that person i would have been happy if it was me who thrown it)

My worst moment was when my awesome Nord Barbarian in the Morrowind expansion, Tribunal, was slaughtered by a little wood elf named Gaenor

I feel your pain. The first time that guy came at me, I couldn't believe it. My heavy armour wearing Imperial got his arse handed to him. I couldn't believe it. Then I went online and saw that Gaenor has a luck of 700......

Gaynor indeed.

L4D on the finally of no mercy on expert. I was running up the ramp to the helicopter and a tank came behind me and punched me through the helicopter and I went out the other side and died. then L4D crashed and I didn't get the expert achevement.

Any car racing games that has "catch up".. Drive like a god all the way to the end, crash in the goal post, everybody passes you and you end up last..

Timesplitters 2. Respawn right in the middle of a hailstorm of minigun bullets and the occasional brick thrown by a duck. You cant last long!

Any game that has a lot of RNG to decide outcome. Mario Kart is a good example that I see being brought up in this thread a lot.
RPGs are another good one, due to critical hits, misses, dice rolls, etc.


Seems to always shoot you down when you need it most.

CoD 4 for mile high club the god damned level has it out for me. I got to the end so many times but then my bullets magically curve right into the hostage and then you get to start the whole level over again. That level is the closest I have ever come to snapping and going on a murderous rampage.

In CoD4 online, I was once respawned into an area mid air-strike. Then after respawning from that, spawned next to an enemy grenade. That was annoying, but I have probably had worse, that I don't remember.

in ninja gaiden 2 these giant flaming armadillos killed me when they exploded because i forgot that even though you have a tiny sword that blocks the entire explosion damage if you don't guard when they do explode you die

me and my brother were on the 2nd to last boss in Gears 2 on insane. we were trying to beat him for about 15 minutes and then we did it...except we both died a millisecond before the cut scene that says"congratulations, on to the next level" and it didnt count. needless to say we both lost interest in playing this game anymore.

This is more incompetence than luck, but I once got beaten at EndWar online in about a minute and a half. Either that or the time I was playing big team in halo and was abandoned by everyone on my team. And if you're going to ask why I didn't quit, it's because I never voluntarily quit a game.

my drunk friend got frustrated with my not drinking at a party, so he pulled the plug on my 360 while I was saving Devil May Cry 4 after beating Mission 17 on Dante Must Die. saving takes about 3 seconds, but he managed to pull the plug with just the right timing to corrupt my save.

Flying Across The Gold Saucer desert thing in my highwind only to find ruby weapon was there then i died..and i didint save before hand T_T
