Here's a story of bad gaming luck. I was playing the PC version of San Andreas, doing a very simple mission, and I mean SIMPLE. It's one of the first missions you do in San Fierro, all you do is drive around and pick people up. No chases, no guns, no explosions, no time limit...all you do is drive around and get acquainted with some characters. By far one of the easiest missions in the game.
The first time I played it, the game crashed. Alright, no biggie. It happens occasionally, and it's not a hard mission or anything. The second time, I go to pick up Zero, but I'm parked so he has to run over to the other side of the car to get in. Incidentally, there is a tram that runs thorough the city whose tracks happen to be exactly where Zero has to stand to get in. Just as he's about to get in...you guessed it, the stupid tram happens to come by at that exact moment and runs him over. Son of a *****, what are the odds of that!? The third time, the game crashes yet again! Realizing something was wrong, I rebooted the computer. I finally succeeded the fourth time, and I was very careful to make sure I picked up Zero without him having to run around the car.
You know you have bad luck when one of the easiest missions proves to be one of the most difficult.
