Worst methods of torture?

Gouge out someones eye's and break their legs before stripping them of their clothes, then you place them in a room full of broken glass, needles, sharp objects, ect. They end up being trapped by being surrounded by the objects, and they can only crawl through them. You then lock the door and leave SEVERAL keys lying around the room under all the sharp objects. You then tell them that there are numerous scattered keys in the room, and only ONE key can free them. (If your extremely evil, none of the keys work and your giving them false hope) Eventually the person will either die of bloodloss and infection, or simply starving to death from staying in the small safe place in the center of the room. It'd be a cruel torture as the person cannot see the door/lock let alone any keys they may have missed, and it's kinda just sick and twisted that your forcing them to crawl naked through broken glass and sharp objects.

Another method would be a simple one if you char owned a dog or groups of dogs. She'd simply starve the dogs untill they became rabid or incredibly desperate, then she'd hack off a limb of the victim or simply incapacitate them and leave them bleeding. She'd then lock them in with the dogs and let them get mauled and eaten by the animals. (It'd be more sadistic if the dogs belonged to the victim)

Or even a better form of torture would be to tie someone so that they could only be in a single place on their hand's and knee's in a strained and awkward position. You then place numerous rusty blades and garden tools below them. Next you place a saddle or a chair on their back and you sit on them. Eventually they will get tired and collapse upon the blades and die, or if the char was whipping them or beating them or something to make them slip up and fall onto the objects below.


(Those are just a couple of my idea's for such a story. Not too complex or elaborate, and quite sadistic if I must say XD. I had to honestly strain myself to think of things that aren't overdone too much by films or TV.)

Sleep deprivation + Ayahuasca + Amphetamines = One crazy fellow. Once you have that base line laid down you can begin the mind and body screwing. The sky's the limit really. Cutting out their eyelids, rectal sealing, demonic chanting, the list goes on.
But yeah, couple a powerful hallucinogen(Especially one that causes immense physical discomfort), a week of no sleep, and strong stimulants before you begin your foray into human pain, suffering, and insanity.

This simultaneously sums up my answer and terrifies me. Any kind of psychological torture would be a pretty bad way to go, but this... yeah.

Maybe it's kinda weird, but this thread interests me an inordinate amount.

My firm opinion is that psychological torture is the best. Keep whoever you're torturing awake. Don't let them sleep. That's the entire torture. First few days, it might not be bothersome, but as the slowly slip into insanity, you can suggest things to them, make them believe something is happening. Or Chinese Water torture. Mostly because its Italian.

I agree with TFielding. Use sleep deprivation. Have the victim locked in a sound-proof room,setup bright strobe lights and loud surround sound speakers inside the room, wired to turn on at random intervals for random amounts of time, and lock the victim in. Wait a week or two and the person is, most likely, either crazed or dead.
And that method, while less physically painful, would be far easier, and cheaper, to pull of than a highly elaborate death trap method.
Though no matter which torture method you decide to use, be sure to have the torturer lock her victims in a sound-proof room, wouldn't want people outside to hear the screams of pain. rage or anger.

This requires two people to do properly. Think of a group of odd items, like lemon juice, jumper cables, salt, etc, and tell the other person to go get them. The other person asks "Where we gonna get this time of night?" To which you respond "You're right, go to plan B".
The person you are trying to torture will use his own fears to determine what you were planning on doing to them with those items, and likely think of something worse to do with them than you could actually think of. Also known as: MIND FUCK.
