Uhh...
I have some kind of problem with my eyes, something about them being dry and not having the right level of protection... basically it means that since living memory, and for the rest of my life, my eyes will always be causing me constant stinging pain. Probably sounds kind of weak - and I guess it is - but I've never quite gotten used to it.

Edit: Oh yeah and headaches. A lot of them. Like more than daily.
My problems never seem to be too serious, just really REALLY frequent!

Psoriasis. My fingers are most affected and they get so dry during the winter that they crack and start bleeding and sometimes I can't even fully extend the fingers without tearing the skin open. Screw you winter and psoriasis.

I've had an ingrown toenail for years but that's sort of been gotten used to now.

My worst ever was a urinary tract infection. It was horrible, you get the feeling of needing to piss constantly, and when you do squeeze it out, it fucking hurts,.
I had an ingrown toenail too, due to my drunkenly kicked my bicycle after a big night out in Osaka. The nail had split, and a sizable splinter was being forced down and through the skin. Well, being batshit crazy I went at it with a straight razor a little every day, basically 'whittling' my big toe. After about 3 weeks I'd cut down the side of my toe quite a bit without huge amounts of pain nor blood loss / requiring stitches. Funnily, I stubbed my toe accidentally - and in between a flurry of curses that would make Cthulu flatulent, I noticed that - from my steady carvery - I had killed enough of the flesh that the nail splinter had actually punctured the end of my toe, making it a simple matter to grab the tip with tweezers and yank. I know that ingrown toenails are meant to be something you never get rid of - but my toenail has grown back perfectly, as has all the skin on my toe that I sliced off during my home surgery.

Try it at home kids!

EDIT: Oh yeah answer the question huh? Umm .. most irritating medical condition for me would be being short-sighted. Fuck I hate wearing glasses.

I used to get Styes when I was a kid. Best way to explain them is that they are giant pimples inside your eyelid. I always got them in the bottom eyelid, and it would have to be drained from time to time.

Depression. It never ceases to provide me with opportunities for subconscious self-sabotage and general life fuck-uppery...

You know how when you go down in a valley or up in an airplane and the pressure in your ears muffles the sense of hearing? I had that for about two weeks after driving back through the mountains in a bus after a snorkeling trip. I've also had dengue fever but even that wasn't as bad as prolonged ear pressure/ hearing loss.

*edit* also seconds the folks who said depression. that's been the toughest to actually live and deal with.

Swimmers ear along with a simultaneous inner ear infection was probably the most painful and annoying thing I've ever experienced.

I had a lung collapse on me while I was getting out of the shower. When I asked the doctor why my lung collapsed, he told me it was because I was unlucky.

Unlucky is not the word for going into the hospital for extreme chest pain, getting an X-Ray, and seeing that there is no lung where there should be a lung.

Most irriating eh?

Well, I suffer from pulsative tinnitus, which unlike regular tinnitus isn't caused by damage to the ears, for whatever reason i can hear my heartbeat like it's coming from my left eardrum, tried to get my doctor to care but all he told me was that my blood pressure was normal and i should just try to "deal with it". Small comfort when silence has become an alien concept.

On a sidenote, the only reason i'm bitter is that generally things like that are a symptom of something else considering i couldn't always hear it, but my GP is reluctant to try and find out what as it's kind of... tricky, so whatever.

Quite a long time ago I got really bad migraines for a few years in a row. They were horrific. They used to last a few days at a time, in which I was in too much pain to do anything except lie in bed with my eyes closed in a dark silent room. Not fun. It felt like the inside of my skull was lined with spikes and squeezing my brain over and over. Glad to have grown out of that problem.

When I got them I always went through this weird series of symptoms before the pain actually came as well. First I got a blind spot right in the middle of my sight, which slowly grew until I was almost blind, then it changed in to tunnel vision and eventually went away. After that I became numb on the left side of my body, starting with my lips and tongue, then the entire left side of my face, before moving down to my left arm and leg. When that went away, the pain begun.

I don't ever wish to experience that ever again and hope no-one I care about ever has to either. It was hell.
Sounds similar to what I get, hemiplegic migraines. If that is indeed what they were then you have my sympathies - also, fun fact, they're very closely related to strokes. That blindness and tunnel vision is, according to my doctor, caused by parts of your brain temporarily switching off. I feel your pain - i'm glad you grew out of them.

As for me, the most annoying is pretty much that. The inability to speak properly for around about a week afterwards has always annoyed me more than the actual pain, though. I don't think i'm aware enough to remember the pain very well. Worst is probably that the nerves in my right leg are permanently going insane and trying to seperate themselves from the rest of me. Hurts like hell and makes it rather annoying to get around.

I um... can't taste food.

Basically, I determine things by texture to a high sensitivity for it, and everything I eat is based on said textures... so most things give little satisfaction and as a side-bonus I can't eat certain things such as vegetables or certain foods because the texture causes instant vomit... or me to get sick.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease. It only lasted a few weeks, and never really bothered me too much. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something worse.

Yeah, I love my immune system, because this is really the most annoying medical condition I've suffered.

I had a blood hemorrhage that bled out and forced a giant mass from getting kicked rather hard in muay thai. The thing was the hemorrhage grew up into the cavity of my body that i didnt notice anything but minor swelling. They had to amputate. . .

I've been a little heavier on my left side ever since

Crohn's Colitis.

From what guys tell me of being kicked in the tender bits, that's pretty much what the pain and nausea feels like when you eat/drink something to irritate the intestines. The difference being that the pain and nausea can last for days, rather than just hours at worst. There's also no cure, from what I understand.
