Most recently I watched The Happening. What a pile of shit. They escape the green stuff THAT'S IN THE AIR by GOING INTO A HOUSE? Last I heard, air is in houses too. The whole thing was badly acted and the only good scene was when the guy sat under a lawnmower.

A lot of the bad films I watch (say, Dr. Boll's work, for example) is actually sort enjoyable because yo can have so much fun laughing at it.

So, it's probably not the worst film ever, but the film I had least enjoyed is the Day After Tomorrow. It's so... dull and to this day is the only film I have ever fallen asleep while watching.

Coming in a close second, Donnie Darko. It's a massively overrated teen wangst bullshit epic, that people seem to hail as 'cerebral' just because they don't get it. No, it just makes no sense. It's not clever, if you look closely at it, it's an exercise in the talentless hack Richard Kelly writing himself into an increasingly tight corner, until the only way he can go is up his own arse.

Also, don't chide me about how, actually, it does make perfect sense, because I don't care.

Crikey, that film makes me angry.

Mine movie has to be Howard The Duck, it was just so bad that it was funny, here a link!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzI-ZbcK_sw
You and I are on the same page, that movie was freaking terrible.

Adding to the list of terrible, Congo for a high budget flick and Gingerdead man for a low budget one. Though it did have Gary Busey in it.

....or any uwe boll film....honestly...i have no idea how that guy keeps making such retarded films....
Its a "Producers" type plot where because he makes such crappy movies the producers get to keep most of the investment money.

The fucking SEARCH BAR.
I heard this movie was great, but got a lot of flak from the critics for being less than functional.

[small]for safety reasons: It's a joke, it's a joke, dear god it's a joke. Please don't explode in anger.[/small]

Alien: Ressurection

This was so bad, such an utter rape of the Alien franchise, that I almost cried.

A tossup between Quarantine and One Missed Call. Two truly shining examples of why I think they should stop making horror movies, because no one knows how to make them anymore. Quarantine just made me laugh the whole way through, and I walked out of One Missed Call an hour in. I'm not even a big fan of Saw, however much shit that might earn me from it's fans.

The worst movie I ever watched was Fight Club. Ha ha, no seriously though, it would probably be starship troopers 2 or 3, I can't remember which sucked more.

As for the "so bad it's good" movie, it's between Escape from New York and Evil Dead.

The plot twist where
it returned all those search results
was way too obvious.
Yeah, especially after all those time when it failed to pick up any relevant results, it was just obvious that the last time it was used it would find a thread. I mean, even in a movie, nothing fails THAT HARD.

Search Bar fails to find results over and over again -> Search Bar finally understands the meaning of results

It really was a typical coming of age tale.

I'm surprised at how many people say Transformers 2 was the worst thing ever. It wasn't. It was bad, yes, but only because of what we expected from it. In this day and age, expecting Hollywood to honour a franchise is futile - they just want to squeeze as much money as possible from it. Yes, Transformers 2 did not even come close to living up to the franchise; but if you went in there to watch it as a stand-alone film, it was entertaining. There are *much* worse things on screen.
I'll say this. I wasn't expecting too much from Transformers 2. My only REAL complaint, was mainly due to its length. There were SOOOO many little scenes that didn't need to be in the movie. It did not need to be almost 3 hours long... and the problem wasn't JUST the length, it was what made up the length...

Transformers 2 is probably one of the worst edited movies I've ever seen.
I hear ya, but that still doesn't make it horrible. It makes it tedious, yes. Looking at the film as a whole, more than half of the films that make it to circuit are as bad, if not worse. Emotionless dialogue, cardboard acting, overblown special effects, recycled symphonic music, and machine-gun editing are all virtually prerequisites to get your shit played.

No, to be truly horrible, a film must go above and beyond all of that.

So bad its good: Shoot 'em up too. Although Shaolin soccer and Kung-fu Hustle were awesome.

So bad it makes me want to barf: In The Name of The King. God damn Uwe Boll for making a movie that manages to make Jason Statham, Ninjas and Burt Reynolds look bad.

Plan 9 From Outer Space... And to think it was meant to have been the director's masterpiece...

I dare anyone to find a good point about that film.

*sits back and waits confidently*

9. Hands down.

Worst ending the the history of stupid endings. The visuals were great, and that's what the movie is about, but the ending is so crap I'm not even gunna get it on DVD. So not worth 9$.
