The Golden Compass, without a shadow of a doubt.
...Why would you play that? It's like stabbing yourself in the hope that it doesn't hurt that much.
I read some terrible reviews, got it off eBay for 3 pounds, and gave it to a friend for a joke Christmas present (we both had previously discussed how awful it was). Actually it turned out to be a great present as we had hours of fun laughing at how terrible it was.

Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game

That or Eragon for the PSP.
How about Eragon for everything?
The Eragon books were nothing short of awesome! But then the film came out...THAT was a real big let down.

And then the game came out and...there's not much to say about that really is there? It's just plain BAD!

Harry potter 4. I have never touched the books, movies or games after playing that. It scarred me.

What about the Toy Story games? Oh my god, they were just plain bad!

Is Lair a bad game? I mean, it does look good but i've not seen any reviews about it.

I don't play movie based games because last I've checked, every single game based off a movie sucks.
Now, everyone will quote Goldeneye for this person. And, at the time, I'll admit, everyone loved Goldeneye. For the time, it was actually really good. Also, it scores in the mid- to high nineties on metacritic.

Furthermore, if you put any stock in reviews, check metacritic for Escape From Butcher Bay. Those reviews (both reviewers and users) point to a game based off a movie that does not, in fact, suck.

This person has taken a generally good rule (games based on movies are usually poorly done) and pushed it too far (painting EVERY game based on a movie with the same brush). This, folks, is what we call a fallacy, and something to be avoided.

I guess he either hasn't checked since pre-1997 or didn't check very well. Yay for logic!

I tend to stay away from movie games, so the choice lies between Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and X-Men: Wolverine's Revenge, the latter being slightly worse than the former.

The Godfather the game was "not bad".
Lord of the rings: the return of the king was fun.

This mentions a lot of the games I hate:
