All Disney sequels . . . Lion King 2, Little Mermaid 2 . . . they will do anything to make money!
You know I wish the stuck with the original tale for The Little Mermaid.

I'm going to go with Balto 2. It doesn't even make sense. Balto can't have a son, he is fertile you idiots. Does anybody at Disney understand breeding?

American Psycho 2 is the worst sequel ive ever seen. American Psycho was great to me, with an ending that had a unique twist. Then American Psycho 2 came, and started off by saying "no no no, nothing in the first movie is true, he really is a serial killer", killed him off like nothing, and then had a movie with a plot even more confusing than the first. And unlike the first, the plot was fucking horrible.

Patric Batemen was the killer. The director said in director commentary that it was the biggest flaw of the movie that people couldn't tell. The author said the book "wouldn't have any point" if he wasn't a killer. The point is that everyone is so self absorbed they don't notice or don't care he's a killer.

On topic, Batman and Robin and Gods and Generals.
see, now i heard from somewhere else that the director said the movie had a hard time trouble telling the viewer that he WASNT a killer. So im guessing that its just a mix of both then.
I heard from someone who read the book saying that the book makes it more obvious that he is simply crazy.

Edit:Upon reading the synopsis on Wikipedia, we are not meant to know whether he was or was not a killer. All of the false witnesses and lapses of memories are meant to show the isolation of Bateman. Confounding his isolation and the sign saying "This is not an Exit" at the beginning and end of the story.

Mortal Kombat: Annihilation is the best and worst sequel of all time. It only sucks if you want to like it. If you love bad movies, you'll not find one better, or funnier. I must have seen it 6 or 7 times now, it's just so bad on so many levels.

Just curious to know what come of you guys thought were the worst sequels youve ever seen.

in the book he really is a serial killer, the ending isn't meant to leave you to believe that everything is fake, is to show how much the yuppie culture is about conforming, so much so he is confused as someone else and his confession is a joke, that sequel did suck, but he really was a serial killer, and taht is by far the most messed up book i have ever read.

As for crappy sequels, the second matrix movie, and also the 3rd one, i cried in it, cause neo tried to show emotion and that shit hurt me

There ya go, fixed. Crank was one of the best action movies I've ever seen. The entire premise was perfect, he had to do awesome and exciting things or he would die. Definitely not a movie to think about much. That said, the idea for the second one has just plain gone off the deep end. His heart has been stolen and using a robot heart with a shitty battery must get it back. Doesn't quite lend itself to the movie in the same way but fuck it, I'll probably still at least rent it when it hits DVD.
Seriously how can they even make a second one . . . the end of the first one is him falling out of a helicopter that is in the sky! No one would survive that!
Jason Fucking Statham can.
Hell yes.
U know that he survived. You hear his heart beat just before the credits

Wachowskis, wa chow doin?
A superman trilogy if thats to be believed.
That being said the Superman sequels. I agree that it takes 5 movies in order to experience the entire mythos but comeon guys! At least put some decent villains and maybe some actual stories down!!
Can you believe Brainiac hasn't even shown up yet!
Brainiac is in Smallville it got a bit rubbish just after he came into it. Now it's absolute garbage.
I don't want to spoil it so only click if you have no interest in Smallville.
Lex Luthor isn't in it. Master stroke.
Oh I'm quite aware of both those points MrGFunk. What gets me is one of Supermans greatest adversaries as even been in film.
