I know there are good elements in 13. I like the fluidity and the more cinematic approach to the combat, and the removal of random encounters was a good move as well. My gripe was more with 13 being the favorite out of all 14 games.RedEyesBlackGamer said:
It's the only FF other than 5, 10, X-2, and 12 to have combat that didn't bore me to tears. And I find the OST to be my among my favorite, 2nd only to 9. I'm also a SICK EVIL PERSON who found Chrono Cross and Legend of Mana extraordinary, and Trigger and Secret not even worth playing more than a few hours. I absolutely love the more linear nature, too. And how every fight was a challenge, rather than a resource gring to weaken you for the boss.
