It's strange but the most pain I've been in started in a dream/nightmare. Something happened in the dream that carried over to when I woke up. Probably the only time I've whimpered - still don't know if the pain was real or not.

I've been pretty lucky not to have anything worse happen to me.

I've never really been in much pain like you guys have, so the worst I've had was, having Stomach Flu I guess and throwing up every minute, stomach in pain 24/7, etc. etc.

I got stung by a bloody blue-bottle. It wrapped around my leg, behind the back of my knee, up my thigh as high as my shorts came down, around my calf. I was only around 11. I screamed so loud the whole beach heard it. I did not bloody well care, that HURT!
I had a bright scar that you could FEEL like a deep ridge in my flesh for almost a year. It was a big white-pink mark for another year and then it slowly faded.
I freaking hate blue bottles.

School is dangerous kids!
Like I said, kinda extreme. I hope he got arrested for that.
Only thing someone's done to me at school was kicking my knee and dislocating it.
And shot too? Man, you're like a action hero! :p

I chipped a nail once... it was horrible.

Seriously though, when I broke both my ankles. That was a long time ago though, about 5/6 years.

For me the most excrutiating pain that I have ever been in was when I was fourteen my mom and I were coming home from my great grandmother's house well on the road we were on it was very narrow and on our passenger side was a good size ravine well a semi came rushing towards us and my mother had to swerve to get out of the way. Well the only other direction was into the ravine since the rest is such a blur to me I'll give you the story my mother told me, what happened was that when we slammed into the bottom of the ravine a piece of metal broke off the roof of the car and stabbed through my back piercing my lung suffice to say I blacked out as soon as it happened from the immense pain when I woke up there was blood all around me I was literally in a pool of my own blood thankfully the truck driver had called the ambulance and I was rushed to the hospital and had forty seven stitches and a huge scar to remind me of that.

I was hit by a car and broke 8 bones in my leg, as I lay in shock on the cold cement, the cop comes over and says "I'm sorry ma'am but you can't lay here, I need to keep traffic going. So he hefts me up, and my leg goes the wrong twisted way. Holy freaking hell did that hurt. He then lays me over a parked car, tells me help is on the way then goes to direct traffic around me.
What a nice cop. Seriously though that must have hurt.

I've been clipped by the side mirror of a car once, fractured my ribs. After that I broke both my ankles Snowboarding a few months later, not my best year.

Edit: Wait I just remembered slammed into a car while grinding a rail on my roller blades, I got dragged for a few seconds until I undid the straps. That was the worst pain ever. Unlike my ankles and ribs the pain didn't numb down, it just stung for a few weeks. Still got a scar on my back.

Bone tumors are generally regarded as the most painful ailment in the medical community. Doesn't that just sound horrible? Bone tumors

I was pissing about in school once, laying on the grass, and a mate basically belly-flopped on me. Didn't break anything, but my collar bone jammed against the ground pretty hard - felt unbelievably nauseous for about an hour afterwards, was worse than the pain.

Other than that, not much that I can think of.

My personal hate is being winded though (arse-bumped down 13 steps once by accident and couldn't breath at the bottom of it).

When I was in sixth form I had to have the last of my milk teeth removed so that my adult ones could come throught and I could get a brace fitted. However when I was given the injections to dull the pain one of the injections was put in the wrong tooth and you see where this is going.

So I was in a ton of pain recently because I'm stupid. Let me explain
1. I am lactate intolerant
2. I had 2 bowls of cereal with whole milk before bed
I woke up 7 hours later in so much pain I could only lay on the floor and scream. I seriously thought about calling 911 but then realized an ambulance is exspensive (and totally forgetting the government pays for my health insurance because I'm suppossedly disabled).

The greatest medicine ever. I took twice the normal dose and was fine 30 minutes later. Still though the pain I felt while laying on the floor screaming like a ***** was massive. Basically milk causes the production of gas and since I slept during the digestion it was in a place where I couldn't get it out. It built up enough pressure to cause pure agony.

So what was the worst pain you've been in?
When I was 8, I had a strain of strep that started in my inner ears then moved to my throat. It was a rough time. Two weeks after the first symptoms of my infection showed up I noticed a redish-brown twinge to my urine. My parents, one of whom had been a nurse for some years, immediately realized it was blood. Needless to say, I was in the hospital within an hour.

Turns out, the infection had spread to, and was ravaging, my kidneys. By the next day, my entire body felt like I had been put through a meat grinder that was on fire. They actually had to put me on pain meds to keep me from screaming at one point.

Obviously, they managed to treat the infection and save both my kidneys and my life. Still, to this day, even after multiple severe bone fractures, it's the most pain I've ever been in.

I was being an idiot, and lifted my mask during a powder paintball gun match a bit too quickly... shot square in the nose. Shattered my nose, and parts of my eye sockets. Holy fuck, that hurt.
