War for Cybertron's godawful online connectivity. The online itself is fantastically awesome, but due to the Unreal engine, it has no host migration and very weak servers. :c

Mount & Blade (and Warband).

That game is glorious, but when you lose a fight and your heroes are scattered to the four winds they pick random places (including enemy nations) to wait for you to go pick them up. They're not *necessary*, but they're a troop that can't die with party skills. If they would go back to a specific rally point (or, I donno, MY DAMN CASTLE) it would be vastly improved.

It's the only reason I ever ragequit in that game. It's maddening.

Mass Effect 2: the mission where your whole squad is unceremoniously thrown on the shuttle for no reason. Such a contrived way to set up that event.

My favorite game (series) right now is the Assassins Creed series because I just got an xbox a month ago so I have to work up to playing all the new games. xD

Anyway, I really loved the first game, and love Altair. So I really didn't like having to suddenly play Ezio; I don't much like him in comparison. I also didn't like at first, how in the first game the guards were always really easy to spot because they always had their sword out and read and wore heavy armor. Whereas in the beginning, in the second one, they looked just like everyone else! So I was constantly running into them, causing them to start chasing me -.-;

Though, all these complaints could just be because I'm a creature of habit and when I get used to something, I don't like it to be changed much.

There's not much that I DON'T like about Kotor (Heck, I even enjoy the combat), but my least favorite parts were the swoop bike races. The fact that I, more or less, have to hit every booster pad and miss all the debris to win the titles annoys me to no end. Luckily these races were optional.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the past. Moldorm. Damn that boss! If he didn't take so damn many hits to kill or didn't reset his life everything you feel off the platform or hell didn't knock you a huge distance each time he touched you then he wouldn't be so bad. No, he has to knock you a country mile each time you get close and take a dozen hits to kill. Why does a boss this annoying have that much life? (In future games his life was cut down, most likely for this exact reason!)

I agree with this. I also hated this game due to the lack of a storyline... Well, not one worth putting a thought to, anyway.
Because it isn't shoved in your face? The actual story of Wander is a little minimal, yes, but the world itself tells a different story. For me, half of the brilliance of that game is the intrigue of the decayed civilization you explore throughout the game. That was "story" enough for me. I dunno, I guess we just have different tastes as to what makes a story. For me, the issue I took with the game generally had to do with the multitude of collision bugs I encountered.

As my favorite game goes...
Final Fantasy Tactics is a little too easy to break, it's got mechanics that can be exploited to the point where the game become laughable. This gets particularly bad once Orlandu is introduced. By the end of the game, your party is so overpowered that the last boss like some sick joke... The last boss in general is kind of a disappointment, too.

1) Halo - All the Legendary Elites.
2) RDR - Cougars and Boars. Fuck them.
3) Oblivion - Vampires and Disease. Always have to make sure I have plenty of cure disease potions whenever I find vampires. Problem is that whenever I contract it I am to busy fighting the vampires and then it is to late.
4) Fallout New Vegas - Cazadors. Dam things are to tough even when Iwas a high level.

So basically I just hate certain enemies.
On oblivion, I usually didnt have too much trouble with vampirism. I usually didn't sleep until I got back to town, though, so I could just stop at a temple to cure it before I slept.

For me... Cave Story is undoubtedly my favorite game. Biggest frustration for me was with the bubbler (bubbline, depending on which translation) had like a 5-point xp cap on 3rd level. One touch from any enemy and you go from "Super armor of deadly bubbles" to a slightly weaker machine gun.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl and the standard classic mode which has been changed from the atmospheric range of the Melee classic mode to a stamina test. Boss Battle mode which is completely impossible and the lack of the awesome Melee bonus ten minute movie with all the characters. Oh and at the beginning the narrator doesn't yell SUP-AH SMAAASH BROTHERS BRAAAAWL.
Other then those small details a really perfect game.

I'm gonna go retro on you all here ...

System Shock 2 - Where you're working for SHODAN, in the level where you have to inject a poison into the ventilation system to kill off the wormy things throughout that part of the ship. I don't know why, but the game would start to grind there. It was well designed, sure, and it's the first time you meet those horrid horrid nurses ('...babies need their rrrrressssst ....' *chills*), but for such a fantastic game the level was a bit too 'Doom 1 - collected red card key then blue card key then yellow card key'-esque.
