Worst possible way to die?

Hmm... My original idea MIGHT have violated the new Escapist rules, sooo..... Erm.... I can't really come up with something as bad as it that doesn't break the rules.
Freezing to death, not only is it extremely painful, if your freezing to death your most likely doing it alone...
Would you seriously WANT to know your whole life was about to be ended soon? Would you seriously WANT to suffer through that, again, knowing the end is near? I think the lucky person is the one with the insta-death, I rather not have time to have to accept the end, I'm afraid I just wouldn't be able to stand it.Romidude said:

Burning and drowning. there you go I simply cannot imagine anything worse.
i mean srsly freezing puts you to sleep as does bleeding, burning on the other hand does not and drowning requires you to go against our our basic instinct and stop breathing for as long as you can but it does not help...

I'll try to keep this PG. I certainly could go into a lot more detail.
A slow, tortuous death thousands of miles away from anyone you know and love knowing that they will never know what happened to you and that you will never be able to say goodbye.
Also, the Two-Face scene from the Dark Knight was another awful way to die, knowing that you are going to die but being forced to tell those you love that everything will be alright.

Being locked in a separate room in absolute darkness while in a state of suspended animation (can't move or feel anything, not evening the feeling of breathing). The only thing that can be done is thinking... there's no sense of time... no sense of place... you're not if sure if you're alive or dead... You're just, nothing...Kris015 said:

There was a form of torture where a person was stripped naked, smeared in honey, bound, and left in the hot sun...they would literally be eaten alive by flies.
doing something stupid like volunteering to aid a friend playing Willem Tell (the guy that shot a apple of his assistant,s head) with a shotgun....while drunk.
