The entire St. Anger album (Frantic possibly excluded) was terrible by Metallica's standards. They forgot Lars' steely snare, Kirk stopped playing solos, it was just not Metallica. It is shit.

I'm a huge Avenged Sevenfold fan, but every time I go back and listen to Sounding The Seventh Trumpet, I feel blood leaking out of my ears.

In retrospect, I should probably see a doctor about that.

If it makes any difference, I don't hate you, compared to the rest of their material, that album was just...Less than sub par, I wouldn't say terrible, but I don't listen to it by choice anymore, and every time Knights of bloody Cydonia comes on Kerrang or Scuzz, I just turn the TV off.

Agreed. Black Holes & Revolutions was certainly not the best album my Muse, I don't hate it, but i don't love it either. The one song that i can't stand more than anything from a band i actually like is Knights of Cydonia. Just ugh.
