We just talked about the worst movies, so what about the worst songs? The worst song I've heard is this song called "Turn off The Lights" but I don't know the artist unfortunetly.
Could it be this shitty song from Mr future? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gocmWBIEGUk?
YES! THANK YOU! I never knew the name of the artist and I never bothered to look for it.

Two words. Crazy Frog.
Hey man, Crazy Frog is awesome.

I didn't know there were so many bad songs...Tried to watch that mass text video, nope.

The shakaron makaron song is actually hilarious, please tell me it is for shits and gigs, and not serious.

My pick would be anything by Keisha. Dear god, my ears.

I'm already not overly fond of Bubblegum Europop, but this is pretty much the worst thing ever.

I don't care if it's a "novelty song" It's godawful.

I know you like Prince as well, so: what do you think is the worst Prince song? Graffiti Bridge maybe, because it sounds like a bad Disney soundtrack?
The Human Body from Emancipation is fucking horrible. If you haven't heard it you shouldn't. It's him singing in a falsetto voice with a techno beat and moaning sounds. It's unbearable.

You mean besides anything by Miracle of Sound?

I whip my hair back and forth! I whip my hair back and forth! I whip my hair back and forth! I whip- Oh GOD make it stop!

With the travesty that was the existence of Rebecca Black most people forgot just how horrible this song was.

Nelly Furtado, perhaps? Only artist I know with a song titled that, at least.

As for myself, I've heard plenty of songs I don't like and plenty I think are just bad, but what I think takes the cake is and always will be "Freaxxx" by BrokeNCYDE.

You know, I actually looked this group up to make sure that this song isn't actually a parody band. But alas, they are being serious. At least I found one of my favorite quotes about them. "British comic book writer Warren Ellis considered Brokencyde's 'FreaXXX' music video 'a near-perfect snapshot of everything that?s shit about this point in the culture'"

Since Freaxxx from BrokenCyde already got posted, I'll go with the shittiest piece of German Rap and maybe rap in general:

"Dreh den Swag auf" by Money Boy, even if you don't understand the text, you still can hear the lackluster skills this human has.

My personal choice is anything by Boards of Canada. Unlike what most people say this is a genuinely good band to the people who like its style, I just despise it's style with the wrath of 10,000 suns. [...] ITS JUST NOISE. THIS. ISNT. MUSIC!
Even though I am one of those people that likes Boards of Canada, I do agree that a good sum of their style is basically psycodelic-esque noise... and the only songs I really like from them usually involve some sort of a music-ish melody incorporating somewhere in the overall song... like in this song, for example: (The guitar portions always get me every time... I love love love that...)

I dont even know why I bother checking the videos posted on this thread. lol
I do... It helps me remember which types of songs I can tolerate if I was ever forced to listen to them in the future... It's like mental training for your music ear.*

*(Results may vary, of course...)

Anyway, the worse song I have listened to currently was "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke... No, I do not want a Beats Pill... and no, I did not want to know that there was even an unrated version of this bland, unsexy music video...

But, overall, the worse song I have heard so far in my life... has not yet happened yet... I think I'm way too open to listening to almost anything and still seem to find it endearing somehow... (or maybe I have a high tolerance to crap that should not even be humanly possible...) Besides, it's usually the music video that comes with the song that I find to be worse than the song itself, most of the time... *stares at Patrice Wilson intensely* I can tolerate the song, but the music video just leaves a bad taste in my mouth...

I HATE YOU.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE.

HATRED WITH THE FURY OF A TRILLION SHRIEKING SUPERNOVA THAT BEHELD THE WRATH OF GOD AS HE SMOTE THE NEPHILIM!

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE!

Geogaddi is my third favourite album... ;_______;

OT: Daw, Design the Skyline has already been covered.

I guess I'll put this:

<youtube=lgWgEoaAYDY>

The non-sequitur of a chorus is glorious and horrific at the same time.

geez, i thought i was the only person that didn't care for her tone death wailing :)
She's not tone-deaf in the slightest...

I find it fascinating that it's mostly people on THIS site that mistake "loud and brash" for "tone-deaf" or "screechy". Mostly from metalheads, too, which confuses me even harder.

Anything by Michael Buble, i swear he's the whitest "Jazz" singer i've ever heard every song he sings is the dryest mess i've ever heard no style, no passion, uh!

I know you said song but like I said, any song he sings is bad. XD
I know everyones tastes are different so I will give that to you but I worked at a concert hall for a few years and saw thousands of performers and Michael Buble easily is the best live performer I have ever seen.

The first that comes to mind is "Love Shack", which is just repugnant.

Also, "The Laughing Gnome" by David Bowie. Almost everything Bowie did in the following decade was awesome, but this first song he released, novelty though it may be, is terrible.
While we are on the subject of bowie. I have to mention his wonderfully shit collaboration with mick jagger - dancing in the street. Proof that two positives can sometimes make a negative

Florence + the Machine is extremely divisive. Either you adore them, or you LOATHE them.

And the loathers are a group of people that I will never ever ever understand.

I mean, they collaborated with Dizzee Rascal for the Brit awards... so Dizzee was rapping with ten harps, backed by Florence. How is this not awesome?

Hahaha, I came into this thread just to mention this terrible, terrible travesty of a song. BrokenCYDE is terrible as well, but at least they don't have that shitty, SHITTY(!) autotune. That is their one and only tiny little positive.
I'm sorry for calling you out, and I don't mean to sound hostile, but I just have to ask. Are you implying that Brokencyde does not use autotune? Because that's how I interpreted your sentence, as you replied to a post containing a song by said artist / group that is basically completely comprised of autotune bullshit.

Also, for anyone talking about Design The Skyline, it's a joke band. I know, I know, they are still shitty to an almost unreachable level, I just thought I'd point it out for those who didn't already know.

This. Although it takes about 1 minute 20 seconds to actually do anything. Almost as though the song knows how awful it is and is trying to put off the inevitable.
