If you are really looking for the worst song ever, look for a song named "Schnappi das kleine Krokodil". If you search for Schnappi on youtube you should be successful. Now you need to know that this song was #1 in Germany for 20 weeks or so.

I remember the "Chickacherrycola" song by Savage Garden.
I downloaded it the other day out of fascination, just wanted to hear it again and promptly deleted it about 50 seconds into the song.

How about "Da da da"? It was kind of ok the first couple of times I heard it in that car commercial. Then they started playing it on the radio all the time. Man, what a brain dead song. All it has is a kind of neat riff or two in the instrumentals and some guy saying "da da da" over and over. If there was an award given out for "worst song lyrics ever" this song should win it.

i find fault with most modern day "music"
the fact that what are most likely recent prison escapees can make millions of dollars marketing songs about mistreating women, violence, drugs and money is just wrong..
i don't count rap or hip hop as a from of music
to me, they are just incessant noise
real music is something that strikes a chord with someone
something that actually has a meaning to it
something that takes skill to produce
classical, alternative, jazz, even rock
