Anything adored by chavs.
Some emo music, not all.
Country and western.
Anything in the charts pretty much.
Rockstar by nickelback because it's so over used.

I feel your pain.

Fortunately I have avoided Soulja Boi and only heard him thanks to Encyclopedia Dramatica.

I hate all of Rihanna's songs (SOS ripped the keyboards from Tainted Love... HERESY), but I wouldn't mind metting her... but I digress...

The worst songs I have ever heard include almost everything by Bon Jovi, Trivium, Bullet for my Valentine, My Chemical Romance, 50 Cent, also The Reason by Hoobastank, anything by Simple Plan or Dashboard Confessional, and I might still be missing some...

Oh yeah, and Gonzales's version of Roger Glover's Love is all... All of the guest singers (Nina Hagen, Jacques Higelin, Matthieu Boogaerts, Micky Green, and others I don't know) sing weakly, without sustaining the notes, the instrumental is hyper minimalistic compared to the original, and basically it feels like you emasculated Dio and made him hum instead of sing...
I hope Roger Glover got paid A LOT to agree to this piece of crap being made, copyrighted and broadcasted... And Gonzales lost all my respect for composing this weak thing...

No one has said this yet, and no had had better say it, cause it is a great song

Kid Rock - "All Summer Long"

Not by far the greatest song of all time, but the man has combined two mad songs (werewolves of London and Sweet home Alabama), and has done a great job.

Loving that song at the moment

Nope, I avoided having to hear All Summer Long but I bumped into an ad for the album, and when I heard he used Sweet Home Alabama for a song celebrating holidays...

I really felt the urge to murder that piece of white trash...

Any music specifically created for and marketed towards teenagers and older kids. That shit is intolerable. About 90% of the stuff being played on mainstream radio stations is musical candy floss and I can't listen to it. All genres have potential, but some are getting more royally screwed by the industry and opportunists than others.

Basically everything that's on MTV.
MTV plays music?

And its gotta be either "Souija boy" or "Umbrella", is it just me, or do most songs just repeat the same few lines over and over again.

And to the person who posted about terrible usic in Britian - yeah, completly true, I remember when that "Bob the builder" song was number one... bad times...

Ah, a thread to make us all feel superior to the mainstream, awesome!

I've absolutely had it with Ms Beddingfield, if only her name wasn't so hilarious.
I feel Muse seem to have released their debut album some six times now.
Alicia Keys could do so much better but she's resigned (or bound by contract) to keep rattling off the same kind of tunes again and again.
Same goes for Rihanna, interesting sound for a while, but girl, throw that voice coder out the window for a change (you're working with tech from '79 there babe (APP - The Raven)).

And where's my new King Crimson album anyhow?! It should've been here at the end of '07!

SenseOfTumour:
We get a lot of that in Holland as well, especially during the summer, I evade radio like the plague during the summer. Thank God the Crazy Frog has left the airwaves, I swear that thing can force its way into your brain without even being transmitted. You Americans have it easy with your Soulja Boy.

CTU_Agent24:
I've been hearing that song waaaay too much. First time I heard it I thought it was ten years old. Then I checked the station I was listening to and found it wasn't the Classic Rock one. wtf? It's new? Largo Winch? You rock sir.

Cyclomega:
50Cent, oh hell yah. That candy shop stuff gets on my nerves. Though not quite as much as Rammstein's Rein Raus, that's just vulgar. If you manage to outfilth Tenacious D something went wrong.

edit:
*looks down

Don't get me started on this.
and I doubt this textbox can hold the vast amount of terrible songs ever produced in history of music.
I also hate it when people reffer to "Top(add number)" as their favorite music.
That's just saying: "well, I just listen to whatever is populair"
I purposely never listen to any radio station, yes even genre specific stations.
And I pray for the day when These "semisoftporn sorry excuses for video clips" get banned.

Hmm yes that was quite a terrible time for the UK... I believe around that period of time roughly 28 days later there was a zombie infection. Luckily for me I defected to Australia...

As for the worst piece of music ever created.... Definitely would have to be

[drumroll][/drumroll]

Crazy Frog... Alex F mix... seriously.... o-m-g

Since I've never heard that song, my plan of isolating myself from mainstream society and its music in particular seems to be heading in the right direction. Now I just need to find out how to get this monkey to do my grocery shopping...

I hate everything 50 Cent/G-Unit with a passion, because their materialistic, clichéed attitude fits exactly my definition of why there are black people and why there are N-WORDs :
Black people are black
N-WORDs are the exact cliché of black people (hoes, chikin, obnoxious, macho hip-hop, bling, etc.)
Ergo, G-Unit are N-WORDs.

About Rammstein, is Rein Raus from a new album ? I have all their albums up to Rosenrot, and being a germanophile I'm always a bit biaised towards them (yet I'm still raising a viking squad to go torture and punish Tokio Hotel, I'm making this a personal matter of honour).
Oh, and Rammstein's Sehnsucht album had quite filthy moments... If they're talking about coit in Rein Raus, as I suspect from the title, it'll always feel less creepy than Tier (a song about a father raping his daughter, who then cuts her wrists) or Spiel mit mir (a song about a boy or man having sex with his very young brother).

I don't know what it's called, but this R&B song that my **** ex-roommate used to play all the time when it was big last year, the chorus sounds like a sensitive black guy trying to cum and sing at the same time. It was just "ooooh, ooooh, ooooh oooh, aaaaah, aaaah, aaah aaaaaah". Didn't help that she'd sing along *shudder* Very dark times those were.

A sensitive dude singing and coming at the same time ? yuck...
