I had braces when I was a kid and one time I tried to scrap some peanut butter out of the back of my mouth. All of a sudden my tongue got hooked on my braces and I had to pry it of with my hands.

It was the single most unpleasant experience of my life. It squirmed too much...and in its squirming managed to sever a few legs, and leak all over my tongue. Ewwww....
