Worst thing I ever bought was Civilization Revolution for the DS.

...or so I thought. I am now addicted to the game and I absolutely adore it. So I guess the worst thing goes to...um...One of those little electronic Hex Bugs. Those suckers break pretty easily.

The Core, on DVD
Although I hesitate to say it, because while it is the 'worst' it is hilarious for that badness, so I consider it worthwhile :D

Oh, I got Half life 2 on DVD via Ebay before being told it wouldn't work anyway, because it's second hand, and there was nothing I could do. Cheap though, so no big loss, orange box had more stuff with it anyway :D

Lol, I *just* named Core as my favourite obscure movie. Ah well, I quite liked it.

I bought a Seether album once. I should have known they were too popular to be good, but I did it anyway.

I also regret all the money I ever spent on crappy junk foods. Cheetos come to mind, as do McDonald's, though I have to admit that I never spent any of my own money on fast food. My parents always bought that for me.

Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows.

You don't want that game.

Nobody wants that game.

Not even Satan himself.

Far Cry 2. I was EXTREMELY hyped for that game. Then I played it and it was a plain piece of utter shit. The missions are always halfway across the map, dudes in cars that attack you at EVERY SINGLE FREAKING second and have the habit of using their car to block the road...meaning I need to spend 10 minutes to get that car off the road so I can actually pass through.

Call of Duty World at War. What was I expecting? Awesomeness. What did I got? A rehashed version of Call of Duty 4 set in World War 2.

Shrek 3 the DVD. Giving the awesomeness of the last 2 movies I taught the 3rd one would be awesome too. But no, they had to fuck it up.

Spore. Well the creator was DECENT at least but everything else was shit...except for the beginning minigame. Rip that from the game, get it on XBLA and I'll be happy.

A jacket for 50 Euros that I rarely ever wear.

Jeans worth 50 Euros that I never wear.

Shoes worth 60 Euros that I barely ever ear

Has you can see I have the incredible ability to spend money on the most useless shit that I can find.

A cross trainer, Cost me £200 and it hardly ever gets used. It's also massive and takes up a massive chunk of the living room.

McDonalds. It seems like a good idea until 20 mins after you've eaten.
DAMMIT, ninja'd!

No fucking joke, I got a kidney infection from eating their crap every day. Now I only buy $1 large dt cokes there. Y'know, playing them for chumps.

Rollerblades when I was still a kid. I just gave up on them when I kept falling and I've maybe used them 5 times in total, after wich they were left to rot in the garden shed.
They're only trumped in uselessness by my icehockey skates, but technically I didn't buy them (my parents did about 7 years ago) so they don't count. I have used those once.

The Death Star, it said on the box that no one would exploit that little weakness.
I love you. That made my day.

OT: I guess it would have to be a (very expensive) Parker fountain pen, which didn't have a line down the nib for the ink to go down (no idea what it's called, sorry) so it couldn't actually write...
You're welcome.

I have an immense collection of Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic: The Gathering cards in my room. I didn't spend too much on them I hope, but I never use them any more.

The tile says it all. What was the worst thing you ever spent money on. It can be anything food, a movie, some random product.

For me the worst thing I ever spent on was those damn Pokemon cards. I was little and didn't know any better and spent around maybe two hundred dollars in all buying these things. And now I'm stuck with these worthless things.

Anyway whats yours?
If you've got any nice ones they could probably sell for quite a bit on eBay. Ive got an original holographic charizard, they cost 50 bucks when they were new.

The dumbest purchase I ever made was a jinxed kite. Everytime I take it outside to fly it the wind mysteriously stops. Then it starts when I go back inside, rince and repeat for everytime I take it outside. It doesnt matter how hard its blowing it will always stop.
You mean you could have stopped Hurricane Katrina?!?! Shame on you sir!
