Worst time to reload ever

There have been so many times that I have been fighting a boss or been in an intense firefight and had to reload. This breaks up gameplay at in the best situation or ends up with you having to start the level over again at the worst.

One example was the time when I was playing the old Ghost Recon, was storming what can best be described as a desert fortress with a bunch of terrorists in it. I thought I had a full clip and charged in learning that I only had one bullet and immediately had to reload, consequently having every terrorist in the fort shoot me multiple times. Another was while playing Republic Commando. I was holding the bridge of the ship, charged at a Transdosian merc and etc. you get my drift.

Anyways, share stories of your "worst time to reload ever" moments.

Any time you have to reload in a CoD game during multiplayer. Finishing a clip is almost always a death sentence, especially with an LMG.

I've got plenty of stories like that. I guess that's one of the dual advantages/disadvantages of Compulsive Reloading Syndrome (which I know many, many people have). I've never got an empty clip, but I find myself reloading in the most inconvenient of places.

It's not overly difficult, but if you need to reload and they're within 15-feet of you, you're fucked.

The worst time I reload is when I am so confident I will have killed the enemy I deem it ok to reload, and then proceed to get shot in the face. It happens more often than it should...

I tend to take the sniper rifle in l4d2, but it's reload is so slow. With my compulsive reloading I tend to reload after every encounter, which is when the other team usually attacks. Nothing says "RELOADING" like a 5 second reload when three of your team mates are being capped.

On that Left 4 Dead note, when I'm down, I have someone trying to revive me, and I need to reload before shooting that zombie that's so totally going to interrupt the reviving attempt.

Man, that zombie's just a jerk.

anytime i a actually out of bullets and am forced to reload. i am a bit obsessive with reloading and will reload after almost every shot if i can.

Choosing to reload in L4D just as a Hunter lands in your face. You could have killed it if you hadn't decided to reload but by the time the animation finishes you're already dead.
