Worst times when your Console/PC decides to crash...

After beating a bullshit boss fight today against a Sadako lookalike on Deadly Premonition (it takes away your lock-on for God's sake!) I healed, took two steps and the game promptly crashed... Rage commencing in 3


Any of you had any similar times where your Console/PC crashes in the perfect "lol i trolled u" way?

For me it was at the end of a 3-4 hour battle on supreme commander 1 on the xbox, last level, as the final commander when nuclear the game frozen, i broke a controller, buggest game ever

My computer(laptop) has been having an overheating issue lately... That usually means the system starts heating up as soon as I fire up a remotely resource intensive game, the system starts heating up, and then it shuts down right about when I'm really getting into things. It might not be as bad as a specific example, but it happens over and over

I don't think I've ever had a total computer crash while gaming.

But Minecraft has been quite uncooperative at times. Like while I was building a gigantic bridge to make crossing a lake easier. I got the whole thing done and was putting fence along the sides of it (for decorative purposes and to keep from falling off it) when the game decided to crash for literally no reason. (As it does alarmingly often.)

I reopened and reloaded the map, and was delighted to see that it had auto-saved my bridge.

Well... about half of it. I guess it didn't manage to save the next chunk over because my bridge went straight from the totally 100% complete half to a single block-wide stretch the rest of the way to the other side of the lake. It was originally 5 blocks wide.

My inventory DID get saved, though. So all the blocks I put into the second half of the bridge were still gone.

Years ago, when the PS3 and 360 were still only myths to the public, I obtained a PS2 and a copy of Final Fantasy X, BUT did not have a memory card for another day or two. Not wanting to be patient, as most pre-teens and young teens can be, I decided to test myself by spending a weekend playing the game without saving and leaving the console running overnight. Needless to say, about fifteen hours into the game the PS2 froze up and I lost everything, only to get a memory card a day later.

PC version done this...

UEF campaign,Operation: STONE WALL. I had an impenetrable defence on all sides. When EarthCom told me to wipe out the Aeon base,I sent 40 nukes it's way. Yes,40. Cybran Monkeylord assault from the north? I had a wall of Demolishers,Titans,and Broadswords waiting. Then came the prolonged assault while I waited for Black Sun to charge up. My defenses were whittled down. I was reduced to using my Commanders,armed for combat,to defend Black Sun,and six Fatboys up North.

Black Sun finished charging,and I go to puish the button. Game crash JUST BEFORE I push the "End the Infinite War!" button. Last save? When I finished building my 8 Stonager nuke silos. Which was about an hour and a half before I glassed the Aeon base with 40 nukes. Bull. Fucking. Shit. Ragequit to Garry's Mod. Built a tank. Was mellow.

I was flying our team's helicopter and My screen started spazzing out. I crashed and murdered everyone on my team including the passengers.
