What was the worst vehicle you ever used in a game?

For me it would be the buggy from Half-Life 2. It goes way too fast and you can't steer it for anything.

Hmm, I wasn't a big fan of the Warthog in Halo, I couldn't steer it for the life of me.

Mongoose in Halo 3.
Too weak to do anything, its only good for capture the flag and none of the pricks use it anyways.

Its reserved for annoying people.

That thing was awesome, how could ya hate that? Oh well.

The vehicles in Borderlands steer annoyingly, then again I actually liked Mass Effect's buggy.

The MAKO in Mass Effect. No matter how you tried, it handled like Shepard was drunk or something. As much as I love Bioware, the MAKO was a constant headache throughout the game and poor design on their part.

I did hear that they didn't design the combat system in ME (not sure if that's true or not), so it's possible they didn't do the MAKO either. But until then my blame sits with them.

the Mako in Mass Effect. First time I played Mass Effect, I couldn't get to grips with the thing. When I finaly thought "I've done it! I...have...mastered...the MAKO!" in that superhero style, I ended up spearing off into a ravine.

I think a quote from Jeremy Clarkson works well with the MAKO's steering:

Jeremy Clarkson said:
You twirl the wheel as quickly as possible and two whisks attached to the end of the column stir up a sort of box full of yoghurt. When the yoghurt is spinning fast enough, centrifugal force rotates the box and the wheels turn.

Seems to be a reoccurring thought, the MAKO. A killer as far the gameplay went for me.

Was so disappointed, not only did it control like a drunk fat bloke in a shopping trolley, it aimed as well as one too.

The Mako was really bad in Mass Effect but the worst ever is in Battletoads. When you have to ride that hover jet....worst level ever.

Continuing the MAKO hate train, that thing was awful. Not only was it a pain in the ass to drive, but they always gave you the worst environments to drive in. Lava pits, sheer cliff faces, and skinny mountain roads routinely had to be trekked.

ANY vehicle from Earth Defense Force 2017. They were essentially cardboard boxes shaped like vehicles that handled like rocks.

Doubt many of you will know what im talking about, but that diamond shaped brown ship in Kirby Air Ride. The really fast one you couldn't change directions in without stopping. I tried to like it, but it just sucked sooo much

The Mako is the first to come to mind, but the Deuce in Brutal Legend is by far much, much worse.

Also in the running for worse in-game vehicles are the Warthog (or anything in the Halo games really.), the Power Boat, Buggie, and Camero in Half Life 2 & Half Life 2:Episode 2.

I stopped playing Half-Life 2 because of the vehicles. I mean not only did the controls just suck, but you ended up being forced to use the things for like 1-2 hours at a freaking time. No one has the right to complain about Halo's vehicle sections, then point to Half-Life as a better game.

Blah, don't even get me started on the Power Boat. I hated that thing with a vengeance.

I over 9000% agree with you. Fuck Battletoads and any level past the first one. The only way I finished that game was using an emulator and saving the state anytime I got one step ahead of my last attempt. So I ended up saving and loading the game about 200 times at least. That game is impossible to finish unless you know exactly what to do
