For me personally, Tales of Symphonia. One of the only games that actually had cutscenes so bad that they were painful to sit through.

Either ET on the Atari or Big Rigs
Oh Gods, I'd managed to forget about Big Rigs! Jesus - I can't believe they were asking money for that! I'm not even sure it qualifies as a game, what with there not being any objective, purpose or anything else even remotely resembling gameplay! I mean, ok, it's interactive, and released by a 'game studio', but how much does that mean, really?

Then again, ET almost killed gaming. I'm not sure if that makes it really really bad, or just impressively abysmal.

Still voting for Big Rigs, though - it's more of an affront to me than even "My Little Pony: The Game". And that's saying something.

E.T. hands down. Hell, did they just give up after drawing the first 5 pixels?

We all know E.T. for the Atari 2600 will win.

I haven't played it though; in terms of games I actually have played, Hellgate: London.

Damnation.
Not only was the game shitty overall, but as a true testament to it's horridness, the final boss touched a wall and froze completely, allowing me to stand there and pick away his healh at my own leisure. I even tried waiting for him for like 15 minutes to fix himself, so I'd actually get a decent fight out of the game. But no, it couldn't even give me that. So I killed him as disrespectfully as one can kill a final boss: with the weakest attack in the game, the standard pistol.

Edit: Oh, and Halo ODST.

Either E.T. or the DS version of The Golden Compass. Yes, I tried it. Yes, it sucked. Horribly. It was life-scarringly bad.

EDIT: Or Big Rigs. Forgot about that one. Just... just... yeah...

modern warfare 1. Boosting war while saying "oh it's bad but here go fight in war." And it's awful sequel.

Its a tie for me between two games, ET and Superman 64.
Holy shit, I totally did NOT see that coming!

OT, Music Machine for the Atari 2600. Someone PLEASE tell me the controls, other than making the guy sink into the ground...

gah... This is mildly difficult.

We all know Superman 64, CDi Zelda, and ET, but heck, we could probably find many prime examples of pure suck in the games that came before the NES. There's a reason the entire industry crashed.

inFamous

Why? I found this game to be nothing but awful. Honestly, I would have rather spent that time playing Big Rigs. An awful game as well to be sure, but its awfulness would have given me at least a few cheap laughs. And a few cheap laughs = me entertained, and that's more than I can say for inFamous. And I play video games for entertainment. So therefore, in my opinion, Big Rigs is a better game than inFamous, because inFamous failed to do anything but bore me.

Well, it seems to mean a hell of a lot for Heavy Rain...
