One thing I've always felt was important to a good story is a memorable villain. In films, TV shows, games, etc. there have been a lot of great villains. But every now and then you just see a villain who is incredibly stupid or boring or whatever. So my question to all of you, who do you think are the worst villains of all time in movies, shows, games or anything?

Mine would probably have to be Hattori from Nabari No Ou for being completely boring and the Emperor from Panzer Dragoon Saga for being stupidly evil for no reason at all.

So now I ask what are yours?

I would have said Lucien from Fable 2, but it looks like Calender Man has already staked the win for this thread.

Naraku from inuyasha. I hated that guy. Hated him a lot. Runner up is skeletor from the he man remake for toonami. He was defeated in the special but just slinks off on the hair of his. Arm? Anyways the character also misses a chance to be realable or funny so seeing him scheme his way into defeat that always will be delivered. Well it was boring. Oddly enough when they replaced skeletor with a different enemy guy that was much stronger it didn't make the show more fun to watch.

I have to vote Gargamel for this. He had one goal capture three inch tall blue people and the smurfs still beat him every time.

He had hardly any motives, and at the end he pussies around when you face him.
No motives? That's preposterous! Just because they only hint at them, doesn't mean that they're nonexistent, after all, he did try to grant humanity immortality through his actions, or at least that's what he claimed.

As for a worst villain, eh, I doubt I'll top the calendar guy.

I was going to mention a villain from the Disney dark ages, but damn, Calendar Man really takes the cake.

Type-Face.
Somewhat like Calendar Man, only with a worse costume and he uses razor sharp letters as weapons.

Lex Luthor; instead of using his amazing intellect to become the world's richest man with his own private harem in each room of his $4 billion mansion, he constantly goes up against that invincible bloke for no reason, other than perhaps boredom.

Probably most of the villains from Champions Online, their premises were either cliched or ridiculous and no not the 'ha ha it's a parody' ridiculous but 'oh god really??' ridiculous.

Lucien from Fable 2 because he had so much potential to be a great villain, he had the perfect motive (to save his family) and he didn't believe he was evil, BUT the writing of the game didn't allow him to really come into his own, you never go into detail when it comes to his reasons and you don't see him enough, there could be such an emotional story but Lionhead wasted their chance. Plus its difficult to be a good villain when your the follow up to Jack Of Blades who just oozed awesome.
