I'd played a demo of a prequel and presumed the sequel would have similar customisation, building units from the treads up, moving the earth above and beneath ground and all that stuff.
I played it for one evening and gave up in disgust at just how poorly balanced and though out it was. Then I reinstalled it because I couldn't believe how bad it was, re-affirmed that the aliens were completely unbeatable and that the entire thing was even more of a waste of time than my first impressions had indicated and burned the box.
2140 and 2150 were so cool and then that piece of shit came along.
I can agree with that, I didn't buy it but I've played a few 100 fights against a friend and the balance really is horrible. You can beat anyone by playing as Lars or Bob using button mashing as your strategy.ShrapnelHound said:Has to be Tekken 6. it was just so bad slow unbalanced and the worst single player game ever.
You Sir A An Idiot.. Dragon age was immersing and told great story accompanied bonus of great gameplay....................was it just too hard for you?psivamp said:Lost Planet, not worth the rental. Dragon Age: Origins for being the worst Bioware game I've ever played and paying full retail for it. I usually get games used at a local retailer who holds a seven day full-refund return policy meaning that I don't pay for bad games, except when they look amazing and I buy them opening day.
There was a public demo for that, you had no excuse to buy that one.b1u3too said:Legendary. WTFBBQ, learn them not to mocap from monkeys.

It's strong points all lied in its online squad based missions. I use the past tense because they shut down the servers in January.Grouchy Imp said:Chromehounds. Partly because it just wasn't that good, but mainly because I wasn't online when I bought it. When it said 'Single player campaign' on the box, it should have said 'Single player tutorial' - then I'd have known to leave it alone. Instead I bought a £40 game and got to play around eight tutorial missions. Needless to say I felt ripped off.
i second that. i got it for five pounds but stillWafflestomper99 said:This one.Veleste said:Too Human. I will never stop regretting that purchase.
Dragon Age? Hard? Not particularly. I played through the whole game, but unlike previous Bioware titles, it didn't seem to invite further exploration. Perhaps I should have provided more information on how much I have enjoyed previous Bioware fantasy RPG titles. DA:O isn't terrible, it just doesn't live up to the standards set by the Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights. It's just an opinion.NibblerHatesYou said:You Sir A An Idiot..
