Lost Planet, not worth the rental. Dragon Age: Origins for being the worst Bioware game I've ever played and paying full retail for it. I usually get games used at a local retailer who holds a seven day full-refund return policy meaning that I don't pay for bad games, except when they look amazing and I buy them opening day.

Legendary. WTFBBQ, learn them not to mocap from monkeys.
There was a public demo for that, you had no excuse to buy that one.
Indeed, but it's odd how I don't get to play demos when I am randomly gifted with over $100 in Gamestop credit that I have to use before exiting the store, and gloriously was not looking for any games in particular at the time.

Then you can't complain about the waste of money. Besides, Gamestop takes returns, full refund if you buy used. Other than that, I'd say sucks to be you, but I wouldn't mind getting $100 randomly.

I've had the misfortune of doing this three times. First time was with Resident Evil: Outbreak, the second time was the first Naruto: Ultimate Ninja, third (hopefully final) time was Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven.

Bought Flight Simulator X on a passing whim. Waste of money. You console guys are lucky, at least you guys can return games you bought but don't want.
I hear that. But instead of FSX, my game of regret is Spore.

Timesplitters.

I got that when it first came out for 80 goddamn dollars and I despised it.

It was also my first PS2 game I bought.
You are dead to me...

OT: Halo 3 ODST. Paid 60 fucking dollars on a game where half of the guns are nerfed and barely any multiplayer. Plus I got a code for the Halo Reach multiplayer from Microsoft like 3 days ago so now I'm REALLY feeling like I wasted money.

Nascar '09.
Dirt to Daytona is among my top favorite games of all time, and I hadn't played a Nascar game other than that one (DtD was made in 2002, btw).

That game sucked beyond belief, everything that worked for DtD, was stripped away from '09 (driving in the pits, driving backwards, etc)

This:
http://www.amazon.com/1-Adventure-Collection-Pc/dp/B00128246W/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1273370209&sr=8-10

A collection of adventure games. I was desperately searching for something like The Longest Journey or Syberia because those stories were just... Something else entirely. Silly me, I ended up not liking a single one of the titles in the collection. I never even completed any of them because they all pissed me off for some reason or another. Seriously, worst waste of my money ever.

I regret putting money into my PSN account.

I bought tons of outfits for my sackboy.

I bought that dreadful game Fat Princess and played for about five minutes.

I bought Warhawk, which...I just couldn't get into.

I bought PAIN and it was good for a few minutes of cheap thrills and then...done.

I bought Time Travelers Wife for a girl who I broke up with the next day.

Seriously, when I was finished buying, my ass hurt because I felt so screwed over.

Force Unleashed. Combat was sluggish, too many quick time events [small](something I don't usually mind unless there are too many)[/small], and it was too short for a game that was $60. Oh, well.
Now you see the great thing about that game was that you pay $60 for a short semi-shitty game and then shortly after they release new levels for it via DLC. Anyway my list is:
Transformers video games based on the movies
Iron Man the movie the video game
Big Rig
Army of 2 games
Halo 2 (single player)

I wasted about a quarter of this year's birthday money on Velvet Assassin. It's a stealth game, so I thought it would be good, but it's utter crap.
I regret it.
