Worst weather in 30yrs... how is it effecting you?

well i know the worst weather my country (holland) ever had.

Oregon(and by that I mean the Willamette Valley and the coast)'s had it's normal winter weather. Raining.

I can't get back to university, which is a right pain.

It's -22, we have about 16 inches of snow, and I work at night. Driving. Snow tires are okay, but chains rule.

-20 degrees in Finland, no hindrance whatsoever to anything. But then again, this is quite normal for us.

Though we did have the worst train accident in 30 or so years just two days ago, supposedly due to ice.

It's snowed about 5 times in my life, so I haven't learned to despise snow just yet.

We had a little over two feet of snow a few days before winter officially began.

Other than that, it's just been cold. I mean, sure it's 31 today, but its supposed to be in the 20s this weekend.

Which may not seem bad (especially after reading some of the posts here) but I live at the Jersey shore and the average temperature for January is somewhere between 42 and 47.

That and the wind for the past four days has been brutal.
